His constant pravachans about sanskar weigh heavily on people and they have to hide their true nature to be in his good books. The only person who is unapologetically himself around him and isn’t afraid to throw truth bombs at him is Karthik.

Exactly - Karthik has had not have to hear Dadis's banter and has grown up as a happy child with loving parents . He loves and understands Ahaan .

Ishqi cant afford house or good food...but how can she afford expensive manicures 😂😂

Also he’s led a sheltered life and doesn’t understand the hard realities of life. He doesn’t know about her abusive uncle either, and how life has been hell for her and her own family… her aunt , all this time. He thinks everyone’s family is perfect. Just follow sanskars and parampara, everything will fall in place, bills paid, both genders fulfill responsibilities. He doesn’t realise it’s a rich class luxury.

I don’t think she would have embarrassed herself on purpose… if she wanted to trap her she could have planted it.. she wasn’t aware of Ishqi’s presence before that
