Hasn't been the start that anyone wanted at the club. In franchise cricket things turn around pretty quickly, so we know that if we can get a little bit of momentum then take that into the semifinal, anything can happen. Pretty confident we can turn it around quickly and just stay positive.

Going back to (Sydney Sixers Women's team in 2016) then, we were just confident in what we were doing, lots of noise outside that tells you to change things but back then we were really confident in the plans that we had and we stuck to that, same thing here. Our execution with the ball hasn't been great but I don't think our planning or our efforts has been in doubt.

She is an amazing player and really destructive, she can take the game away from anybody in the world and the few innings from her have been fantastic, we need somebody to stand up and add little more to that.

We have had one player doing it in each game and you can see from the results from the other teams so far that you need 2-3 players to contribute if you're to win.

Pitch and Conditions: "When I look at this stadium I think there's a lovely coverage of grass right around. There's a slight difference in terms of dimensions, 5-6 meters between the two square boundaries. The pitch is firm and it has a nice coverage of grass as well. I get excited because it brings the seamers into play and Kapp bowled superbly on this. Kapp used her variations quite well and was rewarded for it. I think she's going to exploit that tonight as she has found the weakness on this pitch. Batters will need to apply themselves, spending time will be important. It might not be about the spinners as much tonight as about the seamers, particularly in the first six overs," reckon Mel Jones and Stacy Ann-King.

Smriti Mandhana: "We all had the chat about getting out of CCI. We couldn't play the cricket we wanted to play there, hopefully change of fortunes for us.

Meg Lanning: "We are going to have a bowl this evening. We wanted to make the most of any help that is there in the surface. We need to do both very well. RCB have some really good players and we have to bat on top of our game to beat them. Capsey and Reddy come into the team."

It's time for the toss. Lanning gives it a spin. Mandhana calls heads, and it lands as tails. Delhi Capitals will bowl first. She reckons her team can make the most of whatever early help will be available. She expects the wicket to not change too much across the game. One change for DC - Alice Capsey and Arundhati Reddy come back in, replacing Laura Harris and Minnu Mani. Mandhana hopes the change of venue brings about freshness, and possibly a change in fortunes.

Smriti Mandhana: "We all had the chat about getting out of CCI. We couldn't play the cricket we wanted to play there, hopefully change of fortunes for us. We didn't get much time having played four games in six days, but we had a couple of days off and had a good practice session. We have a few changes."

If we can get a bit of momentum, hopefully we can carry on. Confident that we can turn things around quickly. We are confident in what we are doing and we have to put it out there in the park. I don't think our planning or our efforts is something we need to worry about, it is about execution. As a staff, we are really confident we can do that. (On Sophie Devine's form) She is an amazing player - really destructive. She can take the game away from anyone in the world. We just need someone else to stand up and add to her (runs). we have seen glimpses of it but we just need someone else to stand up as well.
