WPL 2023: Delhi beat Bangalore.

It got much closer than we would have liked. Really happy to be out there and get the team over the line. Her superwoman dive came in handy. (About her batting) I guess it is really hard in the Australian line-up to get up the order, so starved of opportunity there. In the domestic circuit, I play in the middle order and that has kept me in good stead here. More innings like this hopefully are coming. A bit of a surprise for me to be standing here (receiving this award). Many players deserving of this award, and I will take the two points. (On her conversation with Kapp) Just told her to back her swing. She got one short and wide and she absolutely nailed it. I had clear plans on how I wanted to play the off-spinner, and got a sweep shot away. - Jess Jonassen
