Indraprasth is overcrowded with Royal guests from all over Aryavarth for the forth coming Rajasuya.Panchali could not even stop and take breath ..She has loads of responsibilities ...the Kaurava brothers stayed nearer to Royal palace though other kings stationed themselves on the outskirts where palatial buildings were erected by Maya under the supervision of Arjun and his Madhav.

WHY DID ARJUN'S CHARIOT BURN AFTER KURUKSHETRA WAR? HERE'S WHY...

Arjun's celestial chariot burnt to ashes after day 18 of Kurukshetra. Supposedly', Krishn hinted that HE was seated upon it for 18 days; and that's why no astra had the power to burn the chariot for all 18 days.

Oh yeah? Let's analyze. See the long list of astras that attacked Arjun, then see how many times Krishn was NOT seated upon the chariot ... and decide why Arjun's chariot DID NOT BURN multiple times.

I} Day 3 & again on Day 9: Krishn rushed barefoot towards Bhishm. Arjun's chariot did not burn. Fair enough. However, in these 9 days, most battles were face to face skirmishes and didn't involve any major celestial astras.

II} Day 14: Enroute to capturing Jayadrath, Krishn jumped down from Arjun's chariot to rest their exhausted horses. Meanwhile, chariot-less Arjun single-handedly faced multiple Kaurava warriors.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!
-Till date, Shakuni had attacked Arjun with #illusory powers & weapons which Arjun nullified by using the Jyotishka and the Aditya weapon.

III} Day 14-15 saw the fiercest attacks on Arjun. Drona unleashed #Aindra, #Tvashtra, #Vayavya, and #Yamya astras on Arjun's chariot. When Arjun destroyed all, Drona shot his #mightiest #celestial weapons, each being rebuffed by Arjun.
-Then Drona invoked into existence the #Brahmastra, which Partha baffled with his own Brahmastra.
-After Drona's death, Ashwatthama launched his mighty #Narayanastra.
AFTER all these missile attacks, Krishn-Arjun jumped down from their chariot (on day 15), when they sped forward to rescue Bheem from the Narayan-astra.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

IV} After Narayanastra failed, Ashwatthama attacked with his #Agneya-astra, but Arjun nullified it by his Brahmastra. Crushed, Ashwatthama withdrew the Kaurava army. After this, the Pandava army as well as Krishn-Arjun retired for the night.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

V} On day 16 Ashwatthama shot the #Aindra-astra at Arjun. After this, Krishn-Arjun climbed down from their chariot on day 17 to greet & console Yudhishtir in his tent.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

VI} On day 17, Karna attacked Arjun using #Bhargav-astra and #Ashwasena-astra. After this, Krishn jumped down to uproot Arjun's sunken chariot with his bare hands.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

VII} Later, Karna attacked Arjun using #Brahmastra (twice) and then #Varuna astra. After killing Karna on day 17, Krishn-Arjun once again went to Yudhisthir's tent with the good news. Both of them alighted from the chariot to touch Yudhisthir's feet. (With Partha in his company, Govinda beheld Yudhishthira lying on an excellent bed of gold. Both of them then, with great joy, touched the feet of the king.)
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

VIII} The battle continued on day 17 after Karna's mid-day death. On 17th night, Krishn retired to his tent. (Keshava proceeded to his tent in the evening. All those great bowmen of the Pancalas and Pandavas, delighted in consequence of the fall of Karna, slept that night happily.)
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

IX} On day 18, Shalya died. Ashwatthama, Kritavarman & Kripa fled. Then Duryodhan ran away & hid himself in a lake. Unable to find him anywhere, the Pandava warriors and army retired to their tents for the night.
... And yet, Arjun's Chariot DID NOT BURN!!

It was ONLY much later, AFTER Duryodhan-Bheem's duel and Duryodhan's death, that the chariot burnt to ashes!!!

VERDICT:
-Arjun's chariot stayed intact INSPITE of Krishn descending down for a record 7 times & 4 times respectively after the astra-encounters with Drona & Karna.
-Arjun's chariot stayed intact INSPITE of being multiple attacked with multiple astras, including the Brahmastra, Agneyastra, Tvashtra, Vayavya, Varunastra, Ashwasenastra, Aindrastra & Bhargavastra.
-The chariot burning had NOTHING to do with Vishwakarma's banner ape or Hanuman. They did NOT promise any stability to the chariot. They did NOT give any support to the chariot. Their function was limited to emitting ferocious roars. (O hero, remaining on the flagstaff of Arjuna's car will I emit fierce shouts that will damp the energy of thy foes.)

So, WHY DID THE CHARIOT BURN?
Read carefully, the very LAST part of Krishn's WORDS, "thy car has been reduced to ashes after the attainment by thee of thy objects!
Yes, the chariot burnt, because it's PURPOSE at KURUKSHETRA HAD ENDED. The Gods and demiGods were depending on Arjun to rid this world of its wickedest & vilest villains. Until Duryodhan was alive, the battle of Kurukshetra could not end. Once Duryodhan was killed, the chariot's role had ended and that is why it was withdrawn by celestials. Duryodhan's death & subsequent completion of Kaurava defeat was the ATTAINMENT OF OBJECT' that Krishn speaks of.

To repeat, every single astra shot by Drona, Ashwatthama & karna had absolutely zero effect on Arjun's chariot. Krishn not being seated had absolutely zero effect on Arjun's chariot. Obviously, certain silly interpolators have inserted extra words onto Krishn's lips with the open objective of discrediting Arjun or overglorifying the Kauravas.
The interpolators thought nobody would find out their malicious lies. They thought nobody would question their fairytales. They thought nobody would bother to read carefully or check the facts.

Yes. Dr. Sweety Shindey,the author of Arjun Without doubt...We both bonded over Arjun who is our ultimate hero. I loved her book and wrote a review also. We interact through face book and also through PM discuss various aspects of MBH and other books. She is a great writer and a nice person. I love her Arjun and Drau though they slightly differ from my Arjun and Drau.
