There are two forms of Nara-Narayana. One is the Sage and God, the other is the Man and God, the teacher and student. The latter is Parth, an exemplary man, and a fantastic student. Not just to Shri Krishna, but to Dronacharya and Kripacharya as well 😳

Well, this discussion reminds me an incident. I'm posting here, you read it and tell me what you are understanding from this.

Shalya Parva:

Then, with a little pride, that slayer of foes, the divine Keshava, embracing king Yudhishthira, said unto him, 'By good luck, thou hast won the victory, O son of Kunti! By good luck, thy foes have been vanquished! By good luck, the wielder of gandiva, Bhimasena the son of Pandu, thyself, O king, and the two sons of Madri have escaped with life from this battle so destructive of heroes, and have escaped after having slain all your foes! Quickly do that, O Bharata, which should now be done by thee!

After I had arrived at Upaplavya, thyself, approaching me, with the wielder of gandiva in thy company, gavest me honey and the customary ingredients, and saidst these words, O Lord: 'This Dhananjaya, O Krishna, is thy brother and friend! He should, therefore, be protected by thee in all dangers!' After thou didst say these words, I answered thee, saying, 'So be it!'

That Savyasaci hath been protected by me. Victory also hath been thine, O king! With his brothers, O king of kings, that hero of true prowess hath come out of this dreadful battle, so destructive of heroes, with life!'

Just one thing:
Shri Krishna's protection ensured Parth with all the success he needed.
In my point of view, that is the summary.
Hence, we can concude that one who surrenders to the Lord, and asks for His blessings and protection will be the victor, for only when the man knows Dharma will he get that Dharma is Krishna.

Srutha, i did not know about the two form of Nara-Narayana,thanks for enlightening me. I found this citation somewhere so posting it here. This is what exactly happens on that instance.

When Arjuna was still in Indraloka, the great rishi lomasha arrived there in the course of his wanderings. He bowed to the great lord. But seeing Arjuna seated on Indra's throne the rishi wondered.
"What acts of merit has he performed to occupy the seat that is worshipped by the gods?"

Lord Indra perceived the thoughts of Lomasha and said,
"O Brahmarshi, Arjuna is no mortal, though he has been born among men. He is born to kunti with my grace and he is here to acquire some weapons which he will use to cleanse the earth of all evil, O Brahmana,Arjuna and Krishna are none other than Nara and Narayana who have been born on earth to ensure the prevalence of Dharma. They lived in the sacred asylum of Badri at the mouth of the ganga, an abode which even gods and illustrious rishis are not competant to behold. These rishis at my behest have been born on earth to rid her of all sin and exterminate the asuras who live in the nether world. These asuras strengthened by boons have been invincible to the celestials and are causing us greay harm.Without doubt either of Krishna or Arjuna can annihilate these wicked beings. So insignificant a task as this however cannot be performed by lord krishna for he is the embodiment of untold power and its radiance shall destroy the whole universe. Arjuna however can single-handedly destroy these asuras and he is here for this reason. After having slain the enemies,he will go back to the world of men. But o rishi,i request you to go to earth and seek yudhishtira and tell him not to be anxious about Arjuna."

This story I know Rammy. Yet, Parth is not the sage Nara. Then him marrying Panchali won't add up. He had a part of Nara in him, but he isn't Nara purna. He had to have some part of Maharishi Mugdhalya in him for Kalyani to have married him.

@bold-That leaves me thinking. Because i never heard he had a part of Rishi Mughdhalya in him. But it is quite possible.

He does. All five Pandavas do. Bhagwan Shiva's words cannot be false.
