He could live even without Sita, because Mahalakshmi resides in his heart even if she's not present in her physical form, but without Sesh Naag, Hari ceases to exist.

It isn't just Ram-Lakshman, I feel.
It was the same with Dau and Kanha, I can bet it is the same with Shantakaram and His Ananta.
They are each other's soul. They can survive without anyone, but without each other, neither can.

Both in Treta and Dwapar, Lord Narayana decided to end His journey of human life just after Sheshnaag has left his human form. It shows us how strong their bonding is!

For Him, to be able to live apart from most is acceptable, but from His Seshnaag isn't 😳

There are many many stories on Krishna-Balarama as well, Sanju. But they are hidden well in all the texts. We have to search them, and bring them to light.

Bhu, continuing our discussion of Sita's bhumi pravesh from the SKR article thread, I've never bought the theory that Sita did bhumi pravesh just for the sake of doing it.

It doesn't make sense to me that Sita had alright decided to do Bhumi pravesh even before Luv Kush were born. It wasn't a planned thing.

She did bhumi pravesh only because she wanted to prove her sons' parentage to the praja of Ayodhya. She never wanted the world to point fingers at her sons like they did to her. It was a decision she took when no other options were available.

Why would Sita Ma decide to do Bhumi pravesh without any reason? 😕

She wouldn't Shri. She wanted to prove the boys' parentage, and hence she did it.
According to RCM, Sita did Bhumi Pravesh because she didn't want to stay in a place where a woman is not respected.
She wouldn't have done that.
My feeling of why Sita did do the Bhumi Pravesh is a mixture of the two versions mentioned above. Due to both reasons, Sita, who is the Earth as well called out to a part of her, as that part of her was her Mother, and went to her mother's lap.
