Exactly. Till Krishna and the Gita, Parth was a karamveer. Draupadi and Dharmaraj realised the difference between moh and prem, whereas it took the Gita to make Parth understand that.
In fact, in a lot of senses they had surrendered to Him before Parth had. His surrender came later.

Moh and Prem is not all they realised. they also realised that Krishna is all, and what happens, happens for a reason. That is why Panchali calls out to Krishna in the Dyut Sabha.

True. And after the Dyut, even Dharmaraj did. Why I mentioned moh and prem is, that was one of His teachings in the Gita, apart from surrender.

Another of His teachings that fascinates me, is the three Gunas: Rajoguna, Tamoguna, Satvaguna.

He also says that none of the three Gunas matter, for though they cme from Him, they are not in HIm. Thus again, if you surrender to Him, you have bypassed all the three Gunas, and you are with Him, in His consciousness.

Exactly. Till the dyut sabha, Dharmaraja did not have a true grasp of Dharma either. But afterwards, during his 13 years of penance, he had his own personal Gita in the form of Krishna and Panchali's teachings. He realized what true Dharma was, and he would never again make the same mistake.

He did penance for his mistake. Most don't.

True. He also likens people that Arjuna knew to each Guna, saying that had they surrendered to Him, they could have been free from them.

His teachings are vast and amazing. If we follow them, we will live an ideal life.

For us to even comprehend a minuscule part of His teachings is a phenomenon.

And yet people prefer characters like Duryodhan and Karna who never did penance, never felt remorse for what they did. 🤢

I honestly do not understand people's skewed mindset, blaming Dharmaraj for his mistake despite his consequent penance and remorse, and glorifying Duryodhan and Karna despite the fact that they made the bigger and worse mistake and never repented. 😕

It's like people of this generation purposefully prefer the villains in the story because it's more fashionable nowadays.

I agree with most of what you say. The Karna part, we can debate in the CC 😆😆

Dharmaraj is too pure, too truthful for people to understand. And hence, all this skewed mindset comes. they are intimidated by Dharma.
