Yeah true, I love the whole story how Ganga came into this world! Raghuvanshis done a lottt for india! It was one of the Gretest Dynasty in India.

Yes, the Raghuvanshis were truly great. But it's quite sad that after Luv Kush, the other Kings in the dynasty could not keep up the greatness of their ancestors. Do you know that during the Mahabharat, the current Raghuvanshi King joined the Kauravas' side? It made me so sad to hear it!😭

I dont know what happened after Luv Kush! I didnt even know about the complete life of luv kush after they both are made kings.
WHAT 😲 The Raghuvanshis Joined Kauravas 😲 This is HORRIBLE to think even, How can the descendants of Ramji do that! How Krishanji had felt seeing them that they are the later generations of him only 😆

Raghuvamsa by Kalidasa has some details about Luv Kush after Ram. It's said that Kush won his wife through a swayamvar much like Ram won Sita. He had one son and one daughter. I don't know the daughter's name but the son was Atithi.
Luv and Kush were strong rulers and upheld the Raghuvamsa traditions much like their father and other ancestors, but after Luv Kush died (it's said that Kush was killed by a demon but I don't know how true that is, since he's the direct son of God😕) the Ravhuvamsa disintegrated. The descendants of Luv Kush were not as strong as their ancestors and they slowly lost their lands to other Kings.
It's said that when the Pandavas expanded Yudhisthira's kingdom by performing the Rajasuya Yagna, they defeated and took over Ayodhya as well. Later on, the Raghukul King of that time joined the Kauravas army and was killed by the Pandavas during the beginning of the war.
As for what Krishna felt upon seeing Ram's descendants fighting against him, we must remember that Krishna planned all this.😳 Even the Yadavas during Krishna's time turning against him towards the end, remember? It's said that during Shri Krishna's last days, there was a horrible massacre amidst the Yadavas where they became arrogant and killed each other.
So what's important to remember is that the dynasties of Ram and Krishna were great only until they were born into them. After their avatars ended, they were like any other dynasty and gave into the sins and pressures of Kali Yuga.
It's said that the descendants of Raghukul still exist todayShocked, but they are ordinary people like you and me.

I found this really interesting and fascinating information online about the lineage of Lord Ram, before and after him.😎 Check it out! I highlighted Ram so that you know where he stands in the lineage.
The lists of kings of Iksvaku dynasty are found in the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the Harivamsha and the Puranas. The Raghuvamsha of Kalidasa also mentions the names of some of the kings of this dynasty.

A) Kusha took over the Kosala Kingdom (ruled from Ayodhya) from his father, Rama, and also founded a city called Kushapur (today called Kasur).

Atithi, the son of Kusha
Nishadha, the son of Atithi
Nala, the son of Nishadha
Nabhas, the son of Nala and so on... as in (B)

Luv (Lav; Loh) created a kingdom elsewhere. It is believed he did so to the Northwest (present Punjab). He founded the city of Luvpur (or Loh-Awar [Loh's Fort]; today known as Lahore). The Mewar Lineage descends from Luv.

B) The genealogy of the Ikshvaku dynasty is mentioned in the Ramayana, Bala Kanda, Chapter [Sarga] 70, Verses19 to 43 .
