She's not exactly "drugged" but she'll still have to take medicines for a while and those may make her feel very sleepy.

I'm sure she's missing us Piya, but just give her and her family some time. We should also not pester her brother as he must be busy and worried himself. Try not to send him too many messages okay? He might feel annoyed with us and we don't want that to happen. He was kind enough as it is to respond to us and let us know how Varnita was.

If I were you, I'd take a stand for their behavior and let them know that they're staying in your house so should be respectful to you, but I guess it's not so easy right? No, America does not give holidays for Hindu festivals.😆 We get holidays for Christian festivals like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
