@Lily, OMG!! Thanks a bunch for the pics yaar, they are awesome.🤗 But I want moreee.😆 I want all possible snaps of Gurmeet at Gurukul, LOL! Especially from the scene when the four bros are sitting and talking about their parents. Ram is holding a pigeon in his hand and he lets it go, remember? Could you post pics of all four bros from that scene please? It was so cute!

Just Pati Patni; Not Mummy Daddy

Pati Patni Aur Woh, NDTV Imagine's latest serving on the already overflowing buffet table of reality shows, is custom made to put couples ill at ease. No not by introducing a seductress or a hunk as the 'woh' but by placing a child between them!

Yupp! Here's a reality show with a bump-a baby bump! NDTV Imagine along with BBC World presents Pati, Patni aur Woh, the desi version of The Baby Borrowers.

And to give the celebrity contestants a feel of the show, they were asked to handle their 'babies' for a trial time of around twenty minutes during the introductory press conference held by the channel. That should be easy right? Well, here's the lowdown of how each couple handled their baby.

Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala were given a very chubby child. Rakhi at first happily took the bonny child in her arms and then suddenly getting aware of its weight slipped it to Elesh. The rest of the time she was happy just to play with her baby from a distance while Elesh like a good dad held the baby responsibly. Soon the photographers requested Rakhi to pose with her baby and Rakhi apprehensively took the child, but inch by inch the child started sliding on her hips. Elesh finally decided its better to avoid risk and took the baby from her. We think we heard a sigh of relief from the audience then!!

Was it planned or just a coincidence with Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff. Can't say and can't stop wondering too! Because, the kid truly resembled Juhi and to add to that effect both Juhi and her baby were dressed in the same shade of pink. Juhi and Sachin seemed like the parents who would definitely spoil their child rotten. During the whole time that the baby was with them, they kept showering her with kisses! We also saw a future celebrity in their baby as she confidently posed for the cameras.

Gaurav Chopra and Mouni Roy also got a child who was just like them. Their baby was one with prominently long legs which he used pretty effectively to kick Gaurav (eeks!). The baccha indeed gave a very hard time to both the lovers. He just wouldn't stop crying. Guess, the adventurous couple that they are, they got an equally challenging child.

Shilpa Saklani and Apoorva Agnihotri turned out to be the blessed couple among the lot. Their baby was surprisingly well behaved and quite. Not even a hint of annoyance was on the baby's face. Well, this doesn't mean Shilpa and Apoorva will have a cakewalk though. No matter how well behaved she is, she will do her number one and number two'

Television's Ram and Sita aka Gurmeet Choudhary and Debinna Bonnerjee got a baby boy. Debina was clearly not at all prepared to hold the baby. And her efforts to better her ways got the calm baby annoyed who started wailing. The baby got even more irritated when the shutterbugs started flashing at him. However, the young duo managed to calm their baby down with their joint petting.

Ram Sita ke beech Rakhi Sawant!

The show Pati Patni Aur Woh has not yet started, but its already hitting the news, and that too for all the wrong reasons. Well this time, it's Rakhi who is creating problems between Ram and Sita, aka Gurmeet and Debina.
"Rakhi has been briefed to take paanga with Debina and Gurmeet and she is all set to get the TRP's for the channel."

But the query is- Why are the duo fighting. "Gurmeet is a very different person; he says that his family has taught him to stay away from the people who create trouble in your life. Never give them importance by reciprocating to their acts, while Debina is of a totally opposite point of view."

"She will not take any nonsense from Rakhi and is ready to give her the answer, if the latter takes any paanga. Due to this, tiff occurs between Debina and Gurmeet," concludes the source.

Well we can just advice Rakhi- ki bach ke rehna, as both Ram and Sita are kickboxing champs!

Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, who played Sita and Ram in Ramayan, will soon be seen together again in the new reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh.

They were not only the perfect onscreen couple, Gurmeet and Debina have been in an off-screen romantic relationship for over four years, which they kept under wraps during the shooting of Ramayan. "It was a great opportunity to play Ram and Sita, but we couldn't talk about it then. It's okay now because the show revolves around our relationship

. We will be in front of cameras all day with a child, and we have to manage for at least a month," says Gurmeet. "We will not be acting in the show, so that's one thing we are really looking forward to."

Debina has her apprehensions, but trusts Gurmeet's skills. "I do not know if I can manage kids or not but you (Gurmeet) will surely be able to do it," she says. "We don't know if we'll get a boy or a girl but we will have to take care of whoever comes." Gurmeet adds, "I hope things go smoothly and people will like us as parents. It is a good show, there is no bitching, or eating of insects; audiences too will come to know how difficult it is to take care of a kid, it will be useful for them too."

The couple has no experience of handling kids. "We've only interacted with Luv and Kush during the Ramayan shoot, and that too just for six hours," says Gurmeet. "Debina has been telling everyone that we will live happily with a kid but it will be difficult to handle it when the kid goes away. There is a god in each and every child." As the couple will have to manage on a limited budget, Debina is happy that Gurmeet will have to cook because he won't have a choice. She says, "He is not even ready to learn now. He thinks he will be able to learn it there. It's not that easy, though I'm ready to eat burnt food too."

Both actors went through a lot of tests to check their suitability as parents, before getting onto the show. "The production house and channel have taken a lot of effort. We went for medical check-ups and psychological tests. Neither by accident or deliberation will we hurt the kid," says Debina. "There will be 24-hour observation and people behind the cameras who can handle a crisis. Their parents are also going to be on the sets. If anyone is going to be under pressure, it's going to be us."

'There are still miles to go before I sleep' - Debina Bonnerjee

Debina Bonnerjee, better known as Sita of Ramayan on NDTV Imagine has a huge fan following. But very few people know that the actress is a trained Kathak dancer. And even fewer know that she was smitten by the glamor world seeing Sushmita Sen win the Miss Universe crown.

When offered the role, the actress was very excited to take up the challenge of playing a pivotal role of Sita Devi. Speaking about her auditions Debina says, "I had done many regional movies. Gurmeet acted with me in a Tamil serial, Mayavi. The CD of the serial was given to Sagar Arts and seeing that they selected us for the roles. "The funny part is that I did not even know that I was auditioning for the role of Sita", says she.

When asked how it feels to play a character that was popularly played by someone else before, Debina says, "It was very challenging for me to play this role. But as far as convincing my audience goes, I am sure that my audience will accept me, and Ramayan is the first mytho in this era. It was different and hence I took up the role. Not only that, people already have a fair knowledge about the epic, so it's easier to essay the role. The main thing here is to give our 100% to the role."

The young lass has participated in several beauty pageants in Kolkata. And with the support of her parents, she moved to Mumbai post her graduation and earned a Diploma in Public Relations from Bhavan's College. Annotating on her role further, she quips, "I never wanted to play any role in television dailies. In fact like I said, I did not have any idea that I was auditioning for the role of Sita Devi. When selected, I realized how important this role was. This epic has always been close to my heart and to bag the role of Sita Devi is like 'icing on the cake for me'.

As the actress signs out she leaves us with some food for thought saying, "There are still miles to go before I sleep."

Ram and Sita in a new show?
Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, who played Ram and Sita in Ramayan, will soon be seen in a new show in which they play a couple again.

"It is still being planned. We have been offered a show, but we haven't signed it as yet. When we do, we will let you know about it." The show is supposed to be about children and both the actors, who are in the lead roles, will be taking care of the kids.

For the moment, Debina and Gurmeet are just enjoying their spare time. "We have been attending classes together, action classes, dance classes, and we even go to the gym together. We are looking for really unique roles," says Debina. Debina says that the couple is not interested in doing another mythological show, but is definitely interested in movies. The new show will be finalised in a couple of weeks, until when Debina hopes to enjoy some time off.

Debina Bonnerjee marriage proposal

Debina Bonnerjee, who we last saw in Ramayan, is delighted with her new reality showPati Patni Aur Woh for more reasons than one.

While the actress got to have a new kind of experience, she also got engaged to her boyfriend Gurmeet on the show.

She tells us about the marriage proposal: "I had never imagined that he would propose to me through the show. It was very filmy; he went down on one knee and asked me 'Will you marry me?' I said yes," she says. "Later on, he spoke to my dad and told him the good news. I'm now waiting for our parents to meet."

Debina also enjoyed the experience of taking part in the reality show. "Everything was new, but we had faith in ourselves that we would do our best. The show will do well because of its originality. We worked so hard to do our chores that we sometimes wondered if it was real or reel-life."

The actress had to cook food while Gurmeet had to buy vegetables for us and food for the baby. She says, "Our baby was very good but we had to clean its potty ourselves as there were no maids. We couldn't even scold or beat the baby because the real father would immediately show up. It's very difficult to clean up other children's potty and I have realised that we won't have children so soon."

With all the work on the show, Debina ended up losing five kilos. "There was so much work and I had to take of our baby, so my weight naturally dropped to 53 kg. I hope I maintain the same weight."

Looks like the show worked for Debina on all counts.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is gearing up for a competition between the families which will be judged by the dance maestro Saroj Khan and Narayani Shashtri. There were two families who took away the cake.

"Firstly there was a competition between the children where Parth, the child of Gurmeet and Debina won the title from Saroj Khan," chirps the source.

Explaining more on their acts, our khabroo verbalize, "Saroj ji gave Parth a nick name that of Monkey and praised the duo by stating that they make the best parents as they understood the capacity of their child and accordingly choreographed the song."

There were three levels of competition where in firstly the children performed and the next were between the ladies. The last was the contest between the families where all performed.

Narayani was the second judge in the show which was like a shock for Mouni. "Mouni was taken a back when she came to know about Narayani but at the end it seemed to be a family affair when the latter declared Gaurav's family as a winner in the competition," adds the source.

Let's watch it out ourselves of whether there is still fire between the two exes' or not?
