Here are my clues!
I was forsaken by my husband for his second wife.
I gave birth to a great son, who became very famous throughout the world.
God himself had to come to Earth because of my son.

As she was the reason for the two grahas, I said so... I don't whether he reverted or not... I meant Mohini by these clues...

Suneeti - the mother of Dhruva!

Although was she forsaken? Her husband took a second wife & had a son from her as well, but Suneeti remained his wife, and it was Suruchi who prevented Dhruva from sitting on his father's lap. Later, Uttampad was repentant to Narada for not stopping Suruchi from preventing Dhruva from approaching him.

Yeah, you're right.
As for being forsaken, she may not have been disowned and sent to her parents, but Uttampad did not fulfill his duties as a husband by treating both his wives equally. He showed clear preference for Suruchi over Suneeti and even made her his chief queen, which was wrong and caused his father Manu to threaten him with a curse if he did not change and treat both his wives and sons equally. So I guess he may not have forsaken her literally, but it was like she wasn't even there.

I disagree that 'forsaken' is the right term to describe what Uttampad did. But anyway...
  • My son was killed by the Lord
  • My daughter was married to the Lord
  • My grandson was given a lethal weapon by the Lord, who nonetheless intercepted it and made it worthless when my grandson actually needed to use it against his enemy
I am???

Yes Shivang , it is Bhoomi Devi.

The son is Narakasura, the daughter Satyabhama (?) and the grandson Bhagadutta. The Astra in question is the Vaishnavastra, which Bhagadutta hurled at Arjuna during the Kurukshetra War, but Krishna stepped in b/w and the astra on coming in contact with the Lord, became a garland of flowers.

Good Question Vrish

Oops, we must have posted a the same time. You hadn't given the answer when I started typing.

Oh, the daughter was Sita. Didn't think of that.

Good. Reason I gave the answer was that Shivang had already gotten it right. We normally provide the answers once the right one is out, so that nobody makes any wrong guesses.

Anyway, you or Shivang - either can ask the next question.
