I don't know why but I feel something fishy going on with Manyata and her coming back to Indian Idol.

It feels rigged ...wonder whose palm got greased?

She is a boring singer and lacks any personality, depth or connection with the audience

I much rather prefer Maalavika over her

^^^^ considering there were better singers than her who have been eliminated out of whom one of them should have been given a chance in WC entry. Definitely not manya

If they lacked female singers and desperately wanted to bring one, they could have made all the eliminated female singers sing and chosen one based on audience voting/competition.

The whole audience voting scenario is fake and every decision is taken by the show makers on their own I suppose.

Manya - I liked her until her elimination round song. After that, she is going downhill.

As far as voice, malvika's voice is very shrill and manyata is also not any trained singer. None of the singing we hear on the show is real. Music mixing and composing tricks can make any singer sound like kishore kumar or asha bhonsle. Sonu nigam has said it himself. Indian idol is only based on personality and whose story they can sell and cash in the most. Also some people still find these emotional stories heart touching and entertaining.

Well, for me it is one hour of good bollywood songs, just leave the drama out ... not bad

I agree that Manya is like Ravinder Ravi and many other such less than the best singers who has been brought back to create controversy. Plus she is attractive so it helps the channel vs bringing back any of the other girls. Too sad Harsh got eliminated. We will see more such eliminations over her. While poor Manya will bear the brunt of abuses and comments. It wont help her to get a career either.

It was definitely weird because she said she'll come back during her eviction. Seemed like it was already planned for her to make a comeback. Its not manya's fault though, makers want a pretty face to attract the audience.

Agree, there is something definitely fishy. This time they did not even did pretenses of giving others a fair chance. I'd have rather enjoyed one episode of wild card round and selected contestant be through public voting.

I couldnt agree more. Manya is a big party pooper. She reminds me of Ravinder Ravi. Always with the worst perfomance yet keeps coming back. Because of her, Hardeep got eliminated.

Still cant figure out why they brought her back. She's the weakest of all the contestants. There were far better singers than her that got eliminated in the theater round. So yeah there's definitely something fishy here. Maybe they brought her back because she's beautiful. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason.
