hi, u have been thinking this question again & again isn't it. so i thought to share this reason with u .
most of u might not have heard one of the most beautiful & natures paradise of india our northeastern states other than assam.they r one of the most literate states also.& that too in english medium .all the schools govt. or central r english medium having cbse board. & one thing that u don't know our shillong is another banasthali & dehradun from education point of view. shillong university is known for its arts section mainly.
his singing in so many languages , the reason is our northeastern states r another mini india there u can find people from all states of india.english being the medium ,hindi being national & common language,bengali being his mother tongue, assamese being very much similar to bengali both in written & spoken (also may be third language depends on school's choice & assamese friends),khassi being state & third language, he might have learned southindian & other languages from his southindian & northindian friends.
