But the fact of the matter is that Alisha is a good singer, she may not be a good judge but she is a good singer. You can not overshadow someone's quality with that person's shortcomings.

I think the best judge of all is Javed Akhtar. His comments are never never biased and he is the most experienced in the film industry, by age as well as by the experience as a lyricist. Anu Malik most of the times is an arrogant, stubborn and over-anxious with total disregard to the talent.

Now coming back to the show and this concept of public voting, I think it is a very stupid idea to have public voting. Even if they allow, there should be a better system which will not allow one person to vote more than once. It is because of this public voting system that the good talent is thrown out and bad ones become the champions. Look what happened in SaReGaMaPa last year. Where is Debojit now. Disappeared into thin air. I think there were much better singers besides Debojit who deserved to win but he won because he had the backing of lot of people in Assam who had no life and nothing else to do but to sit and vote 24/7.

In Indian Idol 3 as well, I think it was very unfair that Emon and Chang are out of the show. Of the last of 5, here is proper order based on their talent:

1. Amit
2. Emon
3. Chang
4. Prashant
5. Ankita

It is a pity that Chang was out before Ankita (who just knew how to dance, not sing) and Emon is out before Prashant. Now, Prashant is also from Assam and if history repeats itself in II3, I mean if Amit does not become Indian Idol, I am never ever going to watch this show again. Amit is by far a superior, more talented and versatile singer than Prashant who doesn't even know proper pronunciation of some of the words in Hindi songs. If you want to sing Hindi songs, you have to pronounce the words correctly. In that respect, my hats off to Chang, who in spite of being of Chinese origin, had a much better clarity and pronunciation than Prashant.

So, I don't know, if Amit does not become Indian Idol, I can not say here in the forums what I am going to say.....

One last word for Applicant, I think you have bias against Alisha so don't talk about judge's bias. Stick with Javed Sahib...

I disgaree with you about Javed Ji being unbiased. Javed Ji was always biased towards Ankita and Amit. The way he cut Emon into pieces showed how biased he was. Udit is biased towards Prashant. Today Udit even said John sang so well, so God bless the man, Alisha was biased towards Suhit, then Chang, now Amit. Anu seems to have liked all contestants at one point of time. All 4 judges have their favourites, Javed, Alisha and Udit make it obvious while Anu's is less obvious. I'd rather they change all 4 judges next season. I would prefer a VS or Shankar, Sonu and Sunidhi or Shreya.

Alisha went for Suhit, then for Chang and now for Amit. She is running for young guys. Common she is my mom age and acting like teenage girls. Can she even sing any song? Today everybody who has little bit of musical knowledge can sing Mr. India. Who brought her as a judge? I don't want to see her as a judge again. Racism and bias needs to be removed from the society. If educated ones do this then what can we except from others? She is the most bias judge. As Anu said, she is jeleaous of young beautiful girls. Common Alisha you need more education and need to grow up, girl.

once anyone doesn't like Prashant, they are labelled racist, of course they can't not like Prashant because he doesn't sing well, it MUST be because he is nepali right. IF she had praised Prashant to the moon, then it would have been because he was talented, but if she had not it's not due on talent but on race.

I wouldn't hold Anuji as the candle of true singing opinion, his opinions on Prsahant were debased by two good singers Sonu as well as Adnan. Both times he raved about Prashant and the two 'singers' told the truth, of course, unless somehow they were also racist. doubt that Anuji knows what singing is.

If Alisha reiterates it then she is Right.

Amit's flaws are not which breaks a Singer, coz in real life they have lyric written on paper.

But if One does not know sur, taal , have diction problems, then that is a Problem.

Music is not a Game that we have Round One and Round two. It is a creative field. NOt all AR Rahman mucis or even Lata/Kishore Songs are HITs.

They create magic in a handful of them and they are remembered by them.

In AMIT's case we have many songs where he created magic on stage..

That is the bottomline'.

AMIT is a musician who has great potential with Unique voice quality.

100% agree with u 😊

Well . Its not the fact that she supported that is wrong. But the timing of the comment was absolutely disgraceful when Prashant surely outclassed Amit in that song. She was saying "Tumhare har gunaah maaf, you are number one." And she added "prashant ne bhi accha gaya as if he did bad the amit.

Just think how that would have come down to Prashant and his fan and to the neutral viewers that he doesnot get credit even when he sings better.

[when Prashant surely outclassed Amit in that song]

if by just remembering the words, one can 'outclass' another person in the song, i too can harbour the ambition to be a singer 😆

It is proved that Alisha cannot sing as well as cannot judge.
Only thing she can do is chasing after young guys and display her horrible fashion and make-up.
