i'm completely agree with you.
prashant is far far better than most of the contestent and if he improves a bit i garuntee that he will be next II3. he is just "UN-CUT DIMOND".
Guys.....here is a method to rate:
1. take pen and paper before gala starts
2. don't care who is singing, where s/he from, what is her/his background, close your eyes....and listen every contestent
3. rate immediately once song finished (do mute for judges or don't listen to judge or finish rating before judges comments). it is your judgement whom you like the best....don't say at beggining this guys/gals sang fabolus and after judeges comments s/he sang so-so.
4. i'm sure you will find prashant one of the most talented singer. he has such a gr8 voice. he has a tremendious appeal in his voice.
5. friends, don't listen what others are saying. listen what your heart is saying.

i think prashant will be voted out soon

Prashant is better than - Ankkita, Parleen, Abhishek and Chang

So let them go first and then Prashant should go.

Amit, Emon, Deepali and Puja are better than Prashant.

But frankly, Prashant has huge vote banks so I am not all worried about him - I strongly believe he will become the next Indian Idol becomes of strong voting for him

This is a brilliant post. Actually on this forum there is an emotional reaction to the exit of 4 consecutive girls. However fact remains that there is a deep reason for why these 4 girls were eliminated. They were not as good as other contestants. The only exception is Smita who went out because of her looks. But Richa, Charu and Jolly were simply not as competent as other singers.

It is entirely wrong to pic one candidate who was criticized by judges (for their own personal bias) on the 4th gala aur fir us ki is forum par mazaak auraya jai. Infact we should feel sorry for Prashant that he is being targeted unfairly despite his natural talent and melodius voice.

Charu's exit was right.. she had been completely out of sur in the gala rounds and honestly uptil now I dont even remember any of her songs/performances. They just didnt influence me at all. Her looks were great but you cannot progress only on your looks you have to sing well.

Junta likes Prashant because he is a simple, humble, nice human being who sings from his heart (even without training) and has the best voice of any contestant in II3, Amul VOI and SaReGaMa combined.

I personally like Prashant for two reasons. He had an amazing nature and an he doesnt has any classical training only talent. However to be an Indian Idol u need more. I dunt feel Prashant's voice quality is good. Its a lil shaky. Secondly he doesnt do much gud in high ranges. As a singer, ur both high scale and low scale shud be good. 😊

This whole story about Prashant being an uncut diamond is getting old. Prashant has a beautiful unique voice but if he's not getting his diamond cut anytime soon he's causing talented singers to leave. When Smita left we said she has given 3 bad performances so one good performance isn't enough to keep her. When charu left we said the same thing. But Prashant has only given one good performance since the beginning of the Gala's. Still we say his voice is beautiful so he needs to stay. I love prashant cos he's so humble and sweet and nice. but if he doesn't put his act together and work hard it doesn't matter how beautiful his voice is he should go.
As for being bias based on th judges comments then all i can say is every week i'm praying that prashant does well, i feel worried about him and i defend him to everyone saying he's voice is so beautiful so please give him another chance. but every week i watch the performance i get disappointed. Before i listen to the judges i feel like crying cos yet again he fails to reach the mark which he has the capacity in him to reach. So my patiences has run out and if he doesn't do well this week i will not vote for him how ever much i love him.

I dont want to write details on SRGMP but none of the contestants there have as good a voice as Prashant, Amit, Emon or Chang. Yes the folk singers from Pakistan Amanat and Mussarat have a good folk voice which is not exactly mainstream pop voice though.

Anyway, everyone is free to believe their own.

I personally think that Parleen shud go out b4 Prashant...Parleen is so besurra that its not even funny...i mean what r people doing
