There's nothing wrong with what she said! She didn't say people should not perform, she said dancing doesn't work if you are off-key. If someone can perform while singing wonderfully, more strength to them, the perfect example being Sonu Nigam. But if dancing and performing means you are losing it in the song, it is better to stand in one place and sing. The primary goal is singing after all. We've already seen a number of besura performances this season because of excessive dancing. Unfortunately this year we don't have a Sonuji to point that out.

Oh my my ....that's bad ....Clearly she is targeting Ankita......it's nice to see how she can cover up her inability to perform and at the same time can criticize somebody else too....the girl is for sure very cunning and smart.....poor Richa was nothing in front of Puja's smartness.....even when she say stuff on TV it all sounds like she was practising this dialogues all night....you can lie but your eyes and face expression not.....she is very jealous since beginning ....and I don't care how it effects her with II cause II is totally a different ball game...it's a music competition...I would have vote for her any day she sings and give good performance regardless how rude she is....but in life such an attitude is pathetic....i hate those girls who make fun anf also feel jealous of other people 🤢

I guess Puja wishes Richa were still in the show so people would criticize her instead, like they did before...

Yes but for dat one has to become an xtra ordinary singer.. even I believe Alka jee is not even a 50% of Lata jee.. dan dese strugglers needs to work alot .. v cant even compare der singin wid Lata jee

n da formost thing.. y dey didnt chose Padmanav ?? coz v need balance b/w both.. hope u guys rem da intro of Indian Idol in which Farah Khan clearly said dat v need balance b.w singin n performance..it was da main purpose of Indian Idol makin.. else dey demseleves said dat der r thousand of singin hunt but Indian Idol is different bcoz dey r searchin for a balance personality! I am not a fan of Ankita I believe she is da weak singer but one shudnt deny da truth!!

Rem In previous seasons Farah khan forced gud singers to perform!! How can puja denies dis reality of performance?

This is not da singin talent hunt I suppose! if it is dan no one here can call a true singer..!

I don't think she was targeting anybody. Its true that dancing doesn't help when you're off-key. It doesn't mean she's attacking anyone! Its just her perspective.

when did people criticize puja??all contstants have always said something against ankita.i know she did not take ankita's name but the way she has always been against ankita's performance and now she is saying that performance is secondary and it does not help when u r off-key, then it's quite obvious that she was targeting ankita.

How important do you think good looks and on-stage presentation are?

I don't pay much attention to my presentation on stage. For me perfection of singing and holding the right tune and rhythm is the single most important thing. I believe that one should understand the lyrics of the song and sing it with feeling; performance will shape up automatically. Dancing doesn't work when you're off key. I just pay attention to my expressions and my overall performance is enhanced by it.

Decent girl,.. I think you have mis interepreted what puja is trying to say. The question was how important is good looks and on stage presentation. Now what Puja gave was a very sensible answer. Reason being she actually avoided the actual question of looks and stage presentation and spoke about wht she feels is important to her. Nothing wrong in that is it?

She has just saved herself any criticism. If sh had said looks are very important- Then people would say she does not look that great or does not make that much effort like the rest. If she had said stage performance is important then she is not a good performer. Just a good singer-and she higlighted her stregnth rather than her weakness. I feel shes right to say performance will shape up automatically. Look at Sandeep (II2) He could not perform to save himself and now he is a very talented singer and performer. I think It comes with experience and confidence...
