Smita --- putten down

I just need to ask why do judges keep putting Smita down in terms of looks. I live in usa and commenting on looks is definitely considered bad here.

I feel sorry for her, its being telecasted on national tv and everyone including mini/husain comment on her looks

I agree with you. I also live in the USA and thats rite they shouldn't be saying crap abt her on TV. It makes it worse when the hosts bring up smita and her lookz.

I dont think Smita minds it anymore as sympathy votes have taken her to the galas so far! She was in bottom four at one time and now she's doing great. Although I do agree, her looks shouldnt be mentioned on TV everytime.

especially when Alsha commented on her lookz .... if show were in US Alisha would have been shown door long time back !!

actually...i remeber on World Idol i think like 3 years ago...this norwegian guy was singing and after Simon(one of the judges) commented that he has a voice of an angel and the looks of a hobbit!!! It was soo sad but he got tonnes of sympathy votes and ended up winning!! So it may even work out to ehr benifit!!

Could be. But the thing is she isn't that good of a singer. She needs have more versatality. 😕

YEah i found it odd when Alisha comments on Smita;s looks and says you look so nice and that is a good makeover

umm..what makeover..she looked exactly the same to me

Alisha is a superficial chic who crushes on the younger guys - she would prob ask one of those boys out if she could

Smita -- sympathy votes will only take her so far -- but it will not restore her self esteem - esp when the world, her friends, family, colleauges etc see the tape..its really quite embarassing

I dont know what you pple talkin about when it comes to the US -- Simon can be really horrible to the pple on the show -- he has called pple outright on their outfits etc.

However I thot indian idol would be more classy and respectful --- I guess bimbos and dumbos are in every country 😆

what alisha is doing is so immature. i dont really agree with her judgement. this is not a beauty contest, it seems that everytime a contestant comes on stage she first looks at what they are wearing first and then she analyzes the singing, that is a sign of a bad judge for a singing contest..i mean indian people are much more mature than the jduges on american idol, and i think alisha is poor at this, we need a better judge!!!
