Even I agree. Though I'm not dying to listen to Jolly and Richa singing but the fact that they were completely ignored is injustice. Justice is rare in reality tv land, anyway.

i donno abt richa.. but i really feel bad for jolly as she is really sidelined by cameraman & the one who edit dis show nd yea sony

U knoe its nt that they always sideline.. Its just whom we notice more.. Who the audience pays more attention to.. I dunt remember them showing much of suhit either but its just dat v even notice him more in the same 5 mins bec hez controversial.. 😳

I think this is bound to happen. Sony will give coverage to the popular contestants to get high TRP's and so that audience can see more of their "favorites" and continue to vote. It's unfair, but I felt in the Friday episode Parleen 😊 got a gr8 deal of coverage even while he was sitting with all the contestants but others like Richa, Amit, Smita, & Jolly are totally sidetracked. Btw, Richa and Jolly didn't even get to perform a separate song aside 4rm salaam-e-ishq.

I agree with the fact that they are getting sidelined, but not completely.

Both Smita and Richa got really good coverage in the Paino round unlike so many other contestants. Eg: Rashmi Vijayan, the first girl to get voted out. No one heard of her, even after she got eliminated, no1 knew who she was. Now THAT is being completely sidelined.

I dont think Richa is getting sidelined. Just because they didn't show hers and Jolly's performance, maybe they sang really bad and Sony felt that putting that would spoil the high the show was at.

Sidelining people isn't a good thing but at this point, I don't think Sony is over doing it. It was worse in the previous seasons.

I totally agree. that is why an AMZING singer like Aisha got out, yet Suhit, who in my opinion is not hot, not sexyy, and not even an average singer, got so far. It is sad, but true. I don' agree with the Zayed Khan part though. He is an actor, and he has a rishta with Indian Idol, so he is acceptable there. Granted he is an overactor, but he was not bad in Chura Liya Hai Tumne, which was his first movie, and before he got married, he was rly good looking.

I agree that people like PRashant, Richa, Jolly are being ignored. Parleen's getting too much footage. It must be fair to all so that everyone has a chance to showcase their talent. I also hated the way Abhishek was dancing at the foot of Sunidhi trying to draw all attention to himself. Yucks!

they are basically highlighting a few of the singers and making them too popular... this is the same thing that happened to Bhavin and Shantanu who were kicked out of the show because of lack of popularity ( and instead Suhit got so far )...

they are more worried about TRPs and unnecessary calling stars like zyed... what the hell he has to do with Indian Idol... he doesnt even have anything to do with films if you go by me...

I agree with you: Channel and judges both giving more importance to some singers than others. If they want to show someone bad, they will cut and edit clips from here and there. Remember when Mini announced that cntestants are more relaxed today because they get to talk to their family. But later on we heart from one of the contestants that they told them to pretend that they are talking to their family just to gain higher TRPs. I guess, contestants are doing whatever they are told to do.

I don't think Richa made faces when Ankita was selected by judges. I am pretty sure she was told to make sad face and then cut and paste to put her dowm because I think Channel and judges want her to get out first. Its not fair with some of the contestants. Amit, Abhishek , Parleen and Smita are good singers too, but Emon, Charu and Parleen get more advertiment than others.

This is totallly BIAS and unfair to other contestants - good singers like Bhavin, Ayesh and Shantanu got out from the competion just because of Sony - they were not promoted at all - atleast the programme director and editor should be impartial - they should not focus on contestants

I agree..I didnt even know who bhavin was until the piano rounds..where as I knew soo much bout Suhit and couple of others...
