Amit's Audition

Did Sony show Amit during audition or the theatre rounds ? Actually I noticed him only during Piano rounds and I think he became a star only after the wild card round - Even in the forums also he was discussed most after the wild card round - I think he is a know face now and would be able to connect with the audience - From which city did he auditioned?

So out of top 13 the following are auditioned from the same place -

Emon
Chang
Amit
Prashant
Puja
Smita

Deepali( I am not sure though)
Jolly

Bcus of that in all the other shows like SRGMP and VOI i cud not see good singers from that part - as all the better singers from that part has already been taken away by Sony

Are you kidding? SRGMP and VOI have their fair share of originally Eastern State natives (mostly Bengalis If I am not wrong. beacuse being myself a bengali I can easily recognise a bengali surname.)

SRGMP has Rimi Dhar, Joy Chakrobarty, Amrita Chatterjee, Nirupma Dey, Shreshta Banerjee, Tushar Sinha, Koyal Chaterjee, Saaberi Bhattacharya, Sayan Chaudhary, Sumana Ganguly, Binoy Mohanty [11 out of 32, >34%]

ASVOI has Prantik Sur, Tanushree Datta, Ravi Shukla, Shayantani, Rohit Sonal, Sanchari, Sushim Dey, Prantika Mukherjee, Rahul Mukherjee, Arindum, Saptaparna [11 out of 33, > 33%]

II3 has Emon, Chang , Amit, Prashant, Puja, Smita, Deepali, Jolly [ whopping 8 out of 13, > 61%]
