i used to think why javed saab is a judge when he is a lyricist but i think he has good judging skills. i would personally first note the accent of the song, like ka and qa, and i am glad javed saab is pointing out that, it would irk me if someone sings zaiye instead of jaiye, so javed saab stressing on accents is worth applauding, accent is very important in any songs no matter what regional language you have specially if you singing a particular language song.i know we all can have slip of tongues or some of them speak regional languages which doesnt entail the accent required for the song but prashant just proved to be too good and showed how much accent is important for singing 👏 👏 👏 javed saab aap ka kya kehna aap ki baat hi alag hai 👏 👏 👏

👏 👏 true ... also, u have to remember, even though he is a lyricist and not a singer, he has been associating with the music industry and music maestros for decades now .... in that sense, he is very experienced and can easily pin-point if somebody is off-sur or not; or has the right feelings or not and so on .... My ideal panel would be: Javed sahab, Anu and Sonu ... what say ??? 😉

Your absolutely right raunaq! He is a very good judge..he points out everything and when he asked prashant about nepali accent and everything..i was thinking of how much he thinks about a contestant..how many things he notices...i mean no one thought that there is not a letter in nepali which is in hindi?( sorry not sure what that was) and he thought about that too. That was really impressing!

Very true....he is proving to be a good judge...!!!

Have seen him in FG too as a judge so i sumwhere knew tht he gonna be a good judge...!!!

Like u said....the prounounciation of words is very important in sining...!!!
When the listener is not able to make out wht the words tht u are singing are....then dere is no point in singing..!!!

The 'kaaf' n 'khaa' he pointed out in prashant was...a gud one.....no one noticed it...!!!

He was good in FG and tried his best to promote talent rather than looks and style .. Some times he over does the accent thing but I think its good for the contenstants ..
