You know, on a day to day basis here (in the US and prolly UK too) most of us wear jeans and shirts. Nowadays kurtis are all the rage, so we wear jeans and kurtis too. But any desi occasion and our shalwar kameezez and matching jewelery and bangles come out. Any excuse to wear our desi things! I think the UK girls were thinking the same way too.

k lemme ask yu, the topic starter person i forgot ur id anyways..ur from UK as well rite? d auditions were in southall c'mon its more indian dan india with characterless girls and boys but still anyways how many girls u see in normal basis wearing salwar kameez? its dat cus it was auditions for INDIAN idol and like u knw how wen u go to temple or any indian event we wear salwaar kameez, INDIAN idol doesnt ahppen here n most of d people in d queue seemed liek dey were forced to audition 😆 still yeah dey just wore it cus dey dont usually wear it..n wen its something indian we all wear it..but wen its in india people dont really mind what dey r wearing cus dey r already in india n dey dont have to show d indianism
