When Farah praised her Lambi Judaai and said her performance 'touched her heart' and 'she won't be in the bottom three for a long time'. Sonu said LJ was 'some of the best singing on Indian Idol'. Oh, when Farah asked Meenal if she was in love after she sang 'Mera Piya...' 😆 When Anu Malik walked to stage after Meenal's HDDCS to congratulate her.

Oh, tough question...Tabu...she said she had a lot of pain in her voice...

I think she was unfair sometimes. She criticized Meenal but applauded other contestants for avg/below avg performances. 😕
Do you wish Meenal had gone to SRGMP or FG instead of II? Yes or No, give reasons.

No, I think II2 was a good choice. In FG, X factor and performance are stressed more than in II2.

When Meenal went to her home she took someone from II along with her ..who did she take? and your thoughts on that?

She took Antara and that was really sweet of Meenal. Her mother made shrikand for both of them. Yummy. 😆

Hum Dil De Chuke was well applauded by Anu Malik and Sonu Niigaam, but this was her last gala song of II...what do you feel went wrong in her performance that she could not get enough votes? What was your reaction to this performance of hers?

Felt it wasn't her best but better than some other performances from that gala. I think closing eyes went against her. Maybe people didn't connect with the song.

If you were given a chance to cast someone from II to be there in her music video "Mehram", who would you have chosen?

Based on the song, it should be a guy and who better than Amey Ji? 😉

Your reaction to her album? Was it a good idea to do a sufi album, or should she have tried something else? Did you like the album?

Loved her album! She went against popular trends by releasing a sufi album and making a nice and sweet music video. The album was both a risk and challenge by Meenal. Its so different from most music videos on tv. However, I don't think the album sold well, which is sad. Maybe it was cos of the high price of the cd/cassette. Also, solos albums are a risk cos they don't sell that well.

Which is your favorite song from her album? Why this song?

Mehram and Saanwariya...lyrics are beautiful and Meenal sings both songs beautifully...I also like the Mehram video...

Do you think the makeover helped Meenal become a better performer?

Not really. Better performer does not mean getting a makeover or looking more glamarous. Sure, it helps but to improve as a performer, it takes more than just a makeover.

If you get a chance to spend 15 mins with Meenal...how would you spend those 15 mins?

Probably take her interview 😆 and ask her about her album, II2, whether she thinks the judges are biased, if SONY is unfair to Idol contestants. Maybe go shopping in 15 minutes too. 😆
