guys...just wanna clarify that I have nothing against Qazi...He has a great attitude alright and he is a star in his own right...but he wasnt the best of the singers...
and I do feel very strongly about the Kashmir issue and that was the reason I posted the article in the first place...

Kashmir is a beautiful place, yet sadly ruined by violence. Talented youth in Kashmir deserve a chance to showcase their musical talent as well. Its not fair that they can't participate in a talent show. Its like their mixing politics with a talent hunt and maybe its this sort of thing that leads to sympathy votes and people not voting for the best talent in such shows.

Anyway, may the best singer win, regardless of where they're from. Many reality show contestants (SRGMP, Great Laughter Challenge, Zee Cinestars) hail from all over the world now.

Qazi could be a good human being as shown on the show but in my opinion he is definitely not a good singer. I don't think majority always means the best one won. Majority in reality shows means that a group of people were more consistent in sending SMS. Good for Qazi.

Anyway let us not make this thread a Qazi support or bashing one because here the main issue is much more important.

Qazi never got sympathy votes. We simply loved his +ve attitude and voted for him. He was surrounded by some impeccable talent in the form of Arijit, Ruppu, Shamit, Anubhav, Mona, Kirti, Arpita yet he did not bog down. If he would not have shown drastic improvement in his singing I would not have continued voting for him. It was his resolve to excel that got him votes and certainly not sympathy.

i must say that qazi did improve alot from his first performance to his last...

have to admit...i actually love it wen he sang "oh oh jaane jaana"....it was really very nicee!!

~ok i think this topic was on sumthing else...and we're making it into a qazi topic....sure qazi is related to it...but lets not take this any further... 😊
