I am sure with these rules followed by one & all, we can monitor this section pretty well. If MEGHZ becomes the moderator of this section, lot of those rules will get supervised pretty easily and strictly.. MEGHZ will be the better 'SARPANCH' of INDIAN IDOL section

But i don't know why we need viewbies & more over why me? If needed, then smithy could be their as she has already performed the task in JJKN section.

Overall.. very well presented on the RULES for this section..

A very apt summary Sweths! I agree with Gowthy and a plethora of others in the II forum.....Megha (srk_lover) is a very good choice for a mod. I think she's extremely capable for the task and will def keep this place clean (if it isn't already)😕 As for me....well I'm quite busy but if need be I'm willing to allot time to help out coz the II forum is very close to me and I'd hate to see it archived. I think if we followed the rules that Swetha summarized for us then we should really be fine. I hope the mods will reconsider their decision and keep this section alive for those of us who really do consider it very dear to us.

- We should have a person from each fan club to monitor the clubs so that they get closed when it reaches 150 pages .. (I think most of the clubs do work that way now) ...
I also think if we don't have anything to talk about the contestants we can talk about Music in general instead of chatting so much ...

- None of the other shows should be discussed in this II section .. Because there are separate sections for other shows .. All the promotion,supporting and agreements/disagreements can take place in the respective places ...

- All the Bollywood news should ONLY be posted in the bollywood section ... Only, anything related to music can be posted here until the new season starts ...

- We should have ONE common thread for milestones .. coz I think those posts make it ugly

- Only ONE person can open a b'day thread for the bday person ... I think we can save bandwith by doing so ...

- I think if we should come up with a game wherein everyone can take part in it like SRGMP section .. That way I feel we will be able to talk about that in our respective fan clubs .. Which I think it not so bad idea ...

- Other games should be minimized for obvious reasons ...

- Absolutely NO SPAMMERS here please ! - They always get us in trouble !

I see that the # of pages of each thread have gone down in the last few days .. 😕 I dun know if it's this section or if it's because of the whole revamping thing. ...

And also I suggested that Meghz(srk)lover) become a Viewbie because I thot in order to be a Mod, you first have to be a Viewbie .. I might be wrong too ! Anyways, Mod ho ya Viewbie kya farak padta hai .. As long as she gets to monitor and has the power to lock up unrelated topics and stuff .. 😊

I was not here for some time.....n wat has happened!!!!!! 😕 😕 😕 I mean....why do u need to close this section?! There r many other sections which are still opened even wen the show is over and will not start again!!! II3 is gonna start shortly....and then u will have to make a section for it again.....then y close this one?

n Meghzz is the ideal choice for mod....she can definitely monitor this section perfectly!

I understand why this section is being considered to be archived, however with II3 coming soon (soon?😛) is it worth it? Where do we keep up-2-date with II news?
