Although there are many who look at a car as a piece of utility, there are others who look upon a car as a prized possession. The selection of a vehicle for them could depend on varying reasons. From comfort to style to status. Although there are many people who would opt for the cool and hep SUV or an imported sports car there are others who would still prefer the classy looking luxurious wheels.
Punjab di kudi Raajeshwari Sachdev believes that her kind of a car would be an open-aired jeep, " I think an open air jeep is just the perfect car because it is sporty and romantic at the same time," avers Rajeshwari.
Contrary to this Ami Trivedi who plays a bold journalist in Kittu Sab Jaanti Hain on Sahara One believes that her preferable car would be a Mercedes, "I think a Mercedes would perfectly fit the bill for me because it looks so rich and exclusive. Also I believe any person who thinks big in life would love to own a Mercedes and I am one of them," opines Ami.
Agrees Smita Bansal who has recently been seen in the popular TV soap, Twinkle Beauty Parlour. "I would love to own a Mercedes one day. Actually I have always had a thing for luxuries and I feel there can be nothing more luxurious than a Mercedes. Oh yes one more factor that matters to me is that it should be an auto drive," suggests Smita.
Another person who love to be a class apart is Meenal Jain who mesmerized the nation with her unconventional singing talent and her smile, which was quite a rage during Indian Idol 2. The petite singing sensation would love to sport a Ferrari, "I would love to own a Ferrari but because it is not feasible to have one in India because of the condition of the roads, I think I can also settle with a Mercedes. I also think that Honda Accord is a very classy car."
Chandana Sharma who started off her career with the teen drama series Just Mohabbat and now plays Tara in Yeh Dil Chahe More has just bought the car of her dreams, "I have always wanted to buy a car that would fulfill my wishes and I have finally bought it. It is the new Honda City and I am really excited now that I have finally fulfilled one of the dreams in my life," says Chandana.
So now we know cars are not just dreams and desires of common people but are a rage among our celeb brigade as well.
