Seriously am very shocked that Danesh wasn't selected! I really would have wanted him selected over vipul and Kaushik Despande.

I hope Danesh comes in wild card, that is if they have one in Indian Idol!

I believe his voice is not suitable for bollywood solo singing as he is a quawwli singer. I admit that this guy has a good classical base. His age can be another fector. He is alredy doing stage shows therefore does not fall in raw talent category. I wish him good luck. His group has to learn a lot though. Check this out please:

Many TOP singers have at some point have not been able to sing "Their" own song well in during stage shows or live performances...the singers that come to these musical shows come to learn and show case their talent...it's sad that some very good singers were not selected, one being that girl from kashmir, that's another shocker!

I second you all.I wonder why Judeges didnt select him.Infact his singing was over all the top contestants .

I wanted to listen his singing over and over again :(

and yes that Kashmiri girl..she was excellent singer wonder whu judeges choose some ordinary singing talent over excellent ones ???

ya, her performance was excellent. I m shocked that juhi rai couldn't make to the 2nd round. Her 1st round theatre performance was v. Gd but 2nd round performence paved her way to exit door.. I wish she will be back in next season n will get the chance to listen her melodious voice again.

Well, I think Danish's song section wasn't that great, (Teri yaad saath hai..)
IMO, instead of selecting Himesh's composition, if he had selected old classic (that too a classical number), would have impressed Ashaji more !
KAshmir's Indu not egtting selected was bigger shocker to me.. she was too good...
But anyways , I guess the judges are there just to adorn the show, just for giving comments, "ACTUAL" l decisions are made by show's marketing team/directors or production house !

Regarding Juhi, I never liked her much, her voice sounded too artificial.
I also liked Susmirata Dawalkar.
