Devendra sure has a lovely voice.. With little grooming(Indian Idol style) he will surely be in the top 3.. Tender yet mature and very affable man..

Wow! Nice to hear that you personally know them. When they came to Toronto at Glidden Road Temple, I attended gurmat sangeet classes for 10 weeks and learnt a few raags like Tukhari, Todi, Kalyan. Aassa, Suhi, Bhopali, Kanra -darbari and Jaijwanti.

I think Mr. Kulwant singh left Jawaddi Taksal shortly after his return to India.

In the new II6 promo: Devendra sings a song (sorry forgot which one, if someone else has seen it please let me know!), he is belting out his voice on stage, Anu Malik praises him "fantastic Devendra!" Asha then tells him "meri baadi behaan na mujhe kaha, ke woh jo chota sardar hai woh bohoth he acha gaatha hai" (please let me know if I got it quote for quote.) She then asks Devendra "aapko maalum hum hai meri baadi didi kaun hai?" They show Devendra confused face, and put question marks beside it. Asha then says "Lata Mangeshkar!" Devendra goes "woaaa!" smiling his cute smile :).

As am I! She doesn't seem as judgemental, I love DP's voice control, especially his voice as a kid, he always had stellar control. Hoping to see a song that projects his range soon :)
