I best lesson i had learnt from indian idol is "dont see INDIAN IDOL again"

I learned the following things from Srgmp c2005 and II2.

1) Us, Indians are still victims of regionalism

2) As a culture we value shy and timid individuals as opposed to confident and talented. COnfidence will always be misconstrued as arrogance.

3) A contestant should never be overhyped by judges for that contestant no matter how good they are will have a higher chance of losing as well.

4) Music competitions should not be taken seriously as the most talented will never win and if she is a girl you might as well forget it.

5) Stop filling the pockets of SOny and Zee.

i agree with ur last 2 points...but the first three are true of all countries. look at the other idol shows...

yup looks matter a lot...but you shouldn't be too stylish or confident or ppl won't like it...threatens their insecurities...
