You are totally right mm556. Compare Sandeep with Karu not that he is improving. If he sings 2 songs better this doesn't mean he has to become the II2. Look at Karu he performes all his songs excellent. Instead janta is looking at Sandeep's smile. Karu deserves to win and if he doesn't it will be a great loss for India not for Karu because he will succeed what so ever.

i m a total n total karu fan!!but giving an honest and unbiased opinion i feel tht sandeep really sang the first song well... and maybe the reason the judges didnt point out the goof up he made in the end was maybe becoz of his performance which was thoroughly entertaining 😃 .....i just feel tht when sandeep does well,we should give him his due as well 😊 ....as for karunya,he is the best and tht he has proven through his singing!! 😃

Before I comment on Sandeep, I must comment on Karu because I am a die hard Karunya fan but very FAIR VIEWER.
Karunya's performance was brilliant for every song.
His first song was 100% within Sur and he did show the emotions, butmay be little below Karu's level
Afreen Afreen was excellent performance and singing both.
Third song, I am not writing the lines becuase I don't want to type it wrong: the song from movie, Jis desh mein Ganga rehta hai--- was SUPER EXCELLENT, MIND BLOWING. I cannot imagine that Sandeep can even try this song with 100% sur and taal and emotions. I loved it when Javedji said," Only if we have the METER and RHYME". Excellent comments. If he had the Meter, sure Javedji was gonna give Karuna 10 out of 10 marks.
Patriotic song,"Kar chale-----" I have no words to explain his excellency.
Overall his performance and singing was above the level of an INDIAN IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Sandeep, if we take him individually as Sandeep, compare to his all the performances till now, this was THE BEST. Yes, he was out of SUR so many times, but he performed really well and his voice quality is good anyways. When you are performing and singing on the stage, it is normal to go out of track a little. But overall he dod brilliant jon above every body's expectations from Sandeep.

NOW if I have to give overall ranking, I would say, Karunya got 98% and Sandeep got 93%. Now it all depends on who public will vote. This show will not impact a lot on the voting pattern, because Indian Public, may already have in their mind, who they want to make NEXT INDIAN IDOL. God bless them both.

I'm a die-hard Karunya fan. But will say that Sandeep did a decent job with Eena Meena Dika - yes, he missed the sur, forgot the lyrics, but managed because of the general tempo of the song. He was better than usual.

The patriotic song was a mess. the other 2 songs were also average. sonu nigam's song needed variations, but Sandeep fell short.

In all it was a fairly good performance by Sandeep. But I don't think I want a fairly good singer as my Indian Idol. I want the best. 😉
