Sonu is mostly fair. At least he tries to discuss music on the show instead of clothes or appearance.
One thing I don't like is he keeps on harping about Sandeep being a Udit clone. It is not easy to sing like Uditji, that is why Sandeep is the only one I have seen who sings like Udit Narayan. Poor Sandeep, it is not easy to change your natural voice all of a sudden.

very very true - no one can change his/her natural instinct overnight and Sonu knows that from day first that his voice is very close to Ace Singer Udit Narayan....what he can do is to sing songs other than that of Udit but I'm afraid you will see the same impact as he is not copying Udit but thats how he himself sings !! remember when he performed 'Kaun hai Jo Sapno me aaya'? It looked like Udit is perfomring this song....so if he keep harping Sandeep on this issue - that will be a big blow atleast in the final five weeks when there's supposed to be neck to neck competition....God Bless Sandeep !! But in earlier episode, Sonu himslef said that Sandeep's voice is the best among the contestents for playback singng....hope he will remain on his own stand!

Sonu very plainly told Anuj that after he sang Solah baras ki- aapne aaj bilkul accha nahin gaya...Do you really think he sang that bad...comapre it to Ravi Tripathi's last gala performance which if you remember Sonu had praised....

i voted yes by mistake... i think Sonu is by far the best and the most fair and unbiased judge i've come across in all the singing competitions i have seen ... yes i agree with sonu & I think Ravi 's last performance was v good...it touched me and sonu also appreciated it v. much... i think anuj sang that sola baras ki song with lots of passion but he made lots of mistakes and went out of sur...even a person like me who doesn't know much about music noticed those mistakes...just imagine how many mistakes a great singer like sonu must have had found....

yeah...plz keep the title of the poll and the question the same... it creats confusion...

i think sonu is not biased....he has his favorite but he doesn't show favoritism...he gives his true opinion as a judge and always gives suggestion to the contestants to improve their singing........he is definitely a true judge......
