Why is Amey getting less votes?

Why is Amey Dates getting less votes,

Few good points

1. He sings well, he has good understand of sur.

2. His voice is good, performance is good.

3. Looks, presentation ,speech all decent. then why?

4. Judges are also backing him for his good presentation both times.

Negetive points:

no am not writing any review on him asking why he is getting less votes, any answers?

Here is my point of view. Actually I had posted it in some other thread but putting it here too:

For Amey, it could be his makeover - the change of hairstyle along with the choice of song that brought him to the bottom 2. He has an excellent voice but I think his old hairstyle made him stand out in a crowd as opposed to the current hairstyle which makes him look like a young immature kid. I don't think it suits him at all. Also he needs to work on his expressions. He has the same smile on his face and never shows any excitement.
I like his voice and I hope he doesnot get voted out too soon. The trend shows that he is not a favorite of the public which is looking for a complete package and he needs to improve his stage presence if he wants to go further. He already has a good voice.
I hope all supporters of Amey vote for him and don't think that he is a good singer and others will vote for him. I am in US I can't vote. So, please vote for Amey and hope he is never in the bottom 3 again.

may be becuase there r 4 ( Amey,Ravi,Meenal,Panna) from mumbai & there may be a very small margin. I have a feeling that while most people like Panna ,the votes must have gotten shared by the other 3.
This trend will continue for a while.I dont think there is anything about Amey's looks or other issues here.
Amey should sing different type of songs.He is becoming a little stereo-typed.

I think it's not his hairstyle but his expressions. He needs to be more expressive. He's too good a singer to be in bottom 2 but I guess expressions on face also counts a lot.

as far as i noticed i think his song selection is the main reason for not getting votes

How is he getting stereotyped? Juda Hoke Bhi and Tum Jo Mil are very different songs. I think the hairstyle would have helped since people love the cute, boy-next-door look. But it doesn't look like it did. Well, to be honest, I think some of the other contestants may overshadow Amey since he's usually calm & doesn't say too much. He doesn't seek a lot of attention and maybe he goes unnoticed. 😕 But I like him that way.

Yes...........regional votes being divided is a possibility. I do believe regional voting can change the fate of contest and contestants.

As far as Amey being stereotype..............Amey has sung songs from different singers. First it was Hariharan then it was........well I don't know the singer of 'juda hoke bhi' and then it was Mohd. Rafi. But I agree, they were same type of songs. He should choose a fast and popular song now. After reading Aditi's update........I think he himself has realized it now. So hopefully he will choose a better song next time and will end up with loads of votes 😊

I agree with u, Amey should select popular song (not sad song. Like Karunaya & panna.
