I have to agree with the original poster. Sonu has NO right to give statements like that. As a judge he shouldnt favour one & say a particular contestant should make it. I had the same problem with the FG judges who tend to favour their favourites & thats something Sonu is famous for.

Totally agree with you and rolm..... i think at this stage of the competition they shouldnt make any statements that favor their favorite contestants , because that effects the votes .

I totally agree with Sonu and we should all understand why he made a comment like that. The results were quite shocking that day. Singers like Anuj and Javed were out while Panna got into next round even though he did not sing well. Sonu as a judge, singer himself and as an audience was just upset and expressed his views. People should vote for singing capabilities, not for looks. If the good singers like Dilpreet, Anuj and Javed are gone and bad singers like Neha and Panna get in, then the quality of the show will go down and we will lose some future successfull singers. Just imagine, if you have money enough to buy only one Audio CD (you don't see how they look like) and you have options between Neha/Panna and Dilpreet/Javed/Anuj, which one will you choose? I am sure people will go for Dilpreet/Javed/Anuj. People who are voting, please vote for their qualities of singing!

he was right in a way as someone already said he was upset. becoz i don't knw what's wrong with the ppl. they're not voting for the voice.

to me........what Sonu did was completely justified. Maybe his words will help people to select deserving candidate to ultimately win the title.

But i think that there will be one more piano rount after 4th one. or some wild card entry for all those candidates who deserved to be in but could not make it through.

i think anuj should av got thru but i was suprised where the judges had sed dat sandeep and apana had low chances how the heck did dey get the highest votes. but i wanted anuj to go thru and it was quiet sad rrealli coz his and his fiancee were realli upset and for the first tym anu malik cried aswell. 😭

I think Sonu should not have said that . WE all know sonu thinks ameya is in the top 2 but that is not now in his hands and its on the janta janardan and the luck of the pariticipants. He should have just said Ameya is a good and has great talent and they need to make correct decisions based on the singing and not x-factor alone.

judges have their choices still it was unfair to not give panna and sandeep any credit for getting in by public voting.is it panna's fault that he has x-factor? janta will vote whom they like. see even on this forum we have so many different favorites. my personal fav. is karunya.

i didn't hear any criticism from these judges when neha got in. she too got votes just because of x-factor. yashashree and all other girls were better than neha.

sonu was unfair to JAVED KHAN too.his reservations on whether javed in future can sing certain songs was totally unnecessary and uncalled for.on that particular day how a particular cotestant performed-judgement should have been based on that.

javed sang flawlessly.sonu drew attention away from it.javed stood a better chance otherwise.

I feel sonu and annu are more interested in their pesonal equations and paying less attention to the singers.FARAH ofcourse doesnt know a thing about. singing
