I was very disappointed with Sonu last night. Usually, he's very careful and very measured in his comments. However, yesterday he breached the code of an impartial judge. He stated "he's disappointed with the voting public to have voted Amey at No. 3. He should have been number 1 as it now reduces his chances to advance". As a judge he should NEVER make his personal sentiments about a candidate public. He should comment/critique on their performances but not how the public should vote (1, 2, 3). This takes away from his credibility as an impartial judge. Those who are Sonu fans and respect his judgement will now be unduly influenced by his likes and dislikes. For example, I thought Anuj was the best on Monday (yes, better then Amay) but if I was a judge, I would NEVER say that Anuj should have been voted first. I would limit my comments to what I liked about Anuj's performance and let the people decide how they should vote.
What do you guys think about this?
