Bhoomi was absolutely r8 in yes'day epi where she says Rakesh always sings simple and romantic songs..he cannot sing openly which both Bhoomi and sreeram can..i prefer shivam rather dan rakesh in top3...

And When Bhoomi took his name that he should have eliminated because he just sings romantic numbers .. i remembered that " Anna kanne ko slaah de raha hain .. LOL how many times she tried slow numbers and how many times judges praises her.. both are ridiculous...

Sreeram took Rakesh name .. something fishy felt there... 😆

Sreeram is not great indeed .. or a singer who is above mark always .. he has a lot of drawbacks but he is better than other 2 ... II5 Sucks big time...

let me tell a small story.

I have been to this Indian Breakfast palce in Niagara Falls, a authentic punjabi place run by a punjabi and the cook/chef is a sardar ji. I was all hungry and by looking at sardar ji serving the patrons thought I was all for a feast of paratas. Insipte all other items available I have ordered paratas for me and my friends too and the price was exorbitant too. But to my surprise when my chance came to pick up my order I saw sardarji tear opening a frozen DEEP parata which is available at grocery stores in the US and cooking right infront of me. I felt offended and had told the same thing to Sardaji, being a punjbai restaurant I except paratas made at the restaurant and not some frozen crap. I am not saying I have been cheated but the expectation is that it being Punjabi restaurant one automatically expects something authentic and not some frozen stuff available at the grocery stores.

Why all this is because I feel the same way whenever Rakesh being a Punjabi cries so many times in-front of camera, may be I have a high expectation of punjabi's afterall they are known for their bravery and valor

Come on guys, Rakesh is not a cry baby or drama king that all of you are thinking about. He is one of the Best Top Three in last Five Indian Idol Finale. He is here bacaus eof his singing and he does not get votes just from Punjab. He gets votes from whole India so chill and accept that he is one of the deserving final to get the crown!!!

Reg. the Rakesh episode some thoughts

-First, it was too late in the show to broadcast such differences. If they wanted to show the opinions of fellow contestants about Rakesh, they should have done it a lot earlier. Kinda gives me the feeling they didn't want to take the chance of him getting eliminated.

-Again, it was completely unnecessary at this stage.Whatever happened previously, we have reached the end of the season and the contestants remaining are trying their best and the finale week has been very positive and pleasurable in general. The negative vibe was totally unnecessary.

- It is true that Rakesh played it extremely safe especially in the gala rounds. The songs he went out of comfort zone were all in the elimination episodes which the ordinary public doesn't pay much attention to but I think it is unfair to say Rakesh didn't go out of his comfort zone at all. He tried a couple of times.

- Rakesh handled the criticism decently well. It's tough being put in a spot like that. Having said that the whole " Papa kehte hain" thing looked completely ridiculous and took away from his earlier reply.



Already 3245 views and about 280 replies for this Posting which was just opened yesterday.

Bottom line is Rakesh's Drama and Sreeram's singing excellence is the highlight of this season II

I see the winner of this season, and its RAKESH MAINI! It seems to be a trend that when the show asks the contestants to show who they would like to be the last/bottom invariably survives. It happened with Tia so often and she survived inspite of the contestants feeling that she was the weakest. This time, Bhoomi and Sreeram said Rakesh is the weakest in Top 3. Watch out! He will run away with the final prize. Rakesh was selected for the veto power drama because he is very good at crying and the emotional drama (when they announced Rakesh was out, he cried and did all sorts of things and then they brought him back). He was chosen for that veto power to enhance the emotional quotient (they could have chosen Sreeram and then brought him back, but Sreeram looks the guy who wont cry at his elimination).
