Just came across Lata ji's tweet...

mangeshkarlata
a very good saxophone player, great arranger, and a fabulous human being,,manohari da passed away..my heartfelt condolences to his family.

He was on dialysis for quite some time now. Sad news..😔

Indian Idol stage should consider itself lucky that Manohari Da made his last public appearance there. May God bless his soul.

Oh. That is sad news 😔

We were lucky to have him play for us on Indian Idol. It was a really nice experience to see him play the saxophone for the young generation of singers. The contestants themselves are really lucky to have worked with him. May God Bless His Soul. He will be remembered.

I tried to search some related information on net after I read Lata ji's tweet. So I gave a search on Google. There is not even a single article on his death till now. Real pity.

Apart from R.D. Burman, Manohari Da had also worked with composers like S.D. Burman, Shankar Jaikishen, Kalyanji Anandji, Madan Mohan, O.P. Nayyar and Chitragupt.
