I'm in the mood today, thought I'd entertain you guys a little. Bear with me, here. Here is some commentary on various aspects of today's episode. :-)
Good Looks
Sreeram and Abhijeet Sawant looked hawt today! I'm glad they gave Abhijeet Sawant a sort of makeover as well, he needed a new hair stylist. 😆 Sreeram looked handsome in that suit of his! Rakesh also looked extremely refined and decent today. Tia looked terrible and far too old for her age. Salim was well, don't get me started there. 😆 And lastly, Hema Malini's sari was gorgeous!
Dream Partners
Okay, okay this was funny! 😆 First of all, I have to ask all of Naushad's deewaniyan (*ahem pakeezah ahem ahem Zubi*) if they know how to cook bhindi, if not, they have some serious work to do. 😆 Secondly, Bahaar, do you sing? If not, start taking lessons, or your little Jerry Mouse isn't going to want you no more. 😛 Sreeram's long list was cute. And Rakesh's little scene was really, really cute. The emotion and love seemed sincere and made it seem unscripted. It was a cute scene to watch. Rakesh is so romantic ... love his "Rani" story. That was chooo chweet! Although, forgive me for saying this, but his girlfriend looks a lot older than him. 😆 Swaroop's "thank you" scene had me in splits as well. 😆 And, and, and Swaroop said I want a wife that will love my brothers more than me. I couldn't help but think, of course Swaroop, if you're brothers are better looking, of course she will love them more than you. 🤣
The Singing
... because believe it or not, that's what really matters. 😛
The episode started with Naushad and Shivam's naughty performances. Cute songs, but nothing to rave about there. Decent performances. Shivam was nice ... he's really opening up on stage! Naushad did nothing worthy of winning the bike today, but what do I know.
Sreeram and Rakesh progressed with beautiful romantic renditions, set the mood really nicely! Sreeram's Dilbar Mere had me melting in seconds! Another breathtaking performance ... Sreeram tere kya kehna! 😍 He sung Naam Gum Jaayega very beautifully as well! Such a refined voice, I can easily picture it on any current Bollywood actor. Perfect match! Rakesh's Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna was so full of expression and beautiful! You could hear all the right emotions in his voice. I also liked his Tumse Milke.
Bhoomi was terrible!! Tia was bearable, but that's not saying much. Swaroop sung well, but his song choice was a turn off. There were decades worth of songs he could've picked, and he chose that song from Baghban!
I thought judges - Salim and Sunidhi - did well today in their comments. I think they should've been just as harsh on Bhoomi as they were on Tia. Bhoomi needs to go, go, go! And if at all possible, take Tia with her!
Naushad's win today was total BS! It was a joke that they thought Naushad performed better than Sreeram or Rakesh. Arghhh. Maybe if Naushad had properly pronounced "itni" instead of "itti", I wouldn't be this critical. 😆
I will also add on a P.S. here and say that Hema Malini looked half asleep in some scenes, slouching, on that chair! 😆
