i really felt sad when both the rahul's were out.
i just can't forget the gala's and the piano rounds.
hope so that this time there will be some good singers.
but there will not be any rahul nor any amit.
i'll miss them a lottttt.

i cried with my rahul v, when he was eliminated 😭 and till now remember tht moment very clearly when he was unable to say abything bout sonuji!! tht was the most emotional moment in whole show!!..and was happy for abhi for getting seleted on final round!

I remember I was waiting eagerly for Indian Idol. I was a huge fan of the "Idol" concept. My most vivid memories are of Aditi Paul. I got chills during her audition when she sang "Zara Zara"...Then her belting "Dhoom Machaley" in the theatre rounds.......The depressing moment when Aditi didnt make it in the first group of 10....."Lambi Judai" was THE moment of Indian Idol for me coz Aditi brought the house down.....Good times..Good times...

sony didn't show II in US but i visited india around that time. i was totally out of touch as far as hindi shows were concerned. but one day when i was flipping the channels i saw this new reality show and introduction of raw talent who could rock the nation in few months. it just glued me to my tv set.

1. it was so romantic when they showed harish moyal & his wife's love story. she said that she is sad that her husband has to travel in bus and 'dhakke khana' so hope that he can buy a car for himself. they left their home town and came to delhi for his career. his skating towards his wife and hug❤️. to tell the truth i fell in love with harish moyal😳😳.

2. focus was on priyanka venkateswara, amit tandon, rahul vaidya, ravinder ravi and prajaksta shukre most of the time. but then an underdog came and sang 'tadap tadap ke' and whole nation went gaga over him and then no one could stop him. yes!! he is our first II abhijeet sawant.

3. priyanka & amit tandon's kuch kuch hota hai performance. her parents disapproval and pulled her out of the show. sony was very keen on making her II or at least put her in final 3. she had the X & S factor.

4. there was this nervous little girl who would laugh no matter what and blab and lady luck favored her with priyanka's outster. that is adit paul and she is no little girl but a mature 25 year old woman with a voice like asha's.

5. i used to curse the painter all the time. ravinder ravi was an eye sore for me. i couldn't stand him and my dad used to ask me to switch the channel when ravinder was on the spot.😆😆

then i flew back and watched all the videos religiously. i remember my mom crying when rahul saxena was out and i was consoling her. these contestants really became our family members. 😛😊

Hey I remember all songs sung by rahul vaidya , in every round of Indian Idol. Remember once anu ji told rahul "sur naam hai uska shuru rahul se hote hai , kiya usne inhe paida khatam rahul pe hote hai" also he once said" rastan tera katheen bahut hai, dhoop mein shidat bahut hai laken tu jeete ga zaroor kyunki teri awaaz se hamein mohabbat bahut hai.

I cried and cried when rahul vaidya got voted out!that too at a friends party.

Right frm the beginnin till the end the person who has facinated me was Rahul Vaidya... I wanted him 2 b the Indian idol and I was very sad wn he was voted out... 😭

i too had to wait for II to be shown here in US. truthfully, i first learned about the idols when they were showing the "pal" video on a music show and i thought it was just an imitation of American idol. I also visited the site and saw clips of the performances. But once I saw filmfare awards(amit and abhi performance) and aapka abhijeet(the concert), i really started to like the show....Then they finally showed the show to us and now I love it! I think all the contestants were wonderful and abhijeet, amit, rahul and prajakta have awesome careers ahead of them.
