str8tok i am probably the only one who agrees with you that Bhanu's exit was a setback, on the other hand I do not believe Torsha can be categorized in the same league as Prasenjit or Sourabhee, really.

Based on trend, I think Kapil, Remo and Sourabhee will be in top 3.

Prasenjeet/Rajdeep do not stand a chance....Indian Idol always has trend of voting out best talents...

Regrettable and sad. As I mentioned earlier - Bhanu was way more talented than many still remaining on the show. But it's clear now that the show does not measure talent- it just reflects the crazy vote dynamics in India. The two appear to be quite different entities.

To those on this thread that seem to be happy at Bhanu's exit because he appeared to be "overconfident" or "too full of himself" etc.: who are we or anybody else to judge on such subjective attributes? How do we know that little show about his "attitude" on tv was not a staged gimmick? And even if he did have some of these traits- why should they be a blocker to someone's success on Indian Idol?
(Newsflash to dorks: It's probably a good thing if an Indian Idol is not a wuss and sports an air of bravado, stage flair and edginess to complement his or her vocal talents).
To those on this thread that seem to be happy at Bhanu's exit because they feel he lacked the vocal chops of contestants like Bhavya, Kapil or even Rajdeep: hope his rendition of his "farewell" song today may cause you to revisit and re-evaluate your stance. It reiterated his caliber and what II4 lost today.
Once more- inequity ruled the day on Indian Idol. As for Remo- after today I can just pray that either he kills himself or someone else does him and us that favor if he does not quit II4 of his own accord.
A vey sad day indeed.

You are right str8tok. The show does not just measure singing talent. I don't think they intend to anyway. If the show was all about the music they would not rely solely on public voting. But then the show would not be very popular.... Anyone who expects pure talent to be voted in will always be disappointed at some point esp. before the last few rounds when the talent votes are too divided. I agree Bhanu was a better singer than Kapil and Remo at least, but the change in his attitude ( scripted or not) totally seemed to change his image in the public's mind from an unfortunate struggling talent to an arrogant jerk who cannot take criticism. Remo seems to get the image thing, you should watch his face after every performance good (yeah right) and bad. He looks like a little puppy who was beaten up with big sticks. That seems to resonate with the public.
Well here's to hoping the public will get smarter, which I know they wont.

I have not been a big fan of Bhanu
He does shoot his mouth off alot
However...he did sing very well last night and was among the best
Remo - he will not be voted out cause the indian "jantha" is keepin him in to spite the judges...that is very obvious...i dont like Remo in any way..horrible singer and I dont think he is cute at all...
Bhanu shud not have been voted out last night as I saw some progress in him finally
