Why not judges themselves decide who wins/proceeds if they have so much problems with public decision.😕
where is the concept of reality here if they are giving multiple chances to everyone ??

Exactly, why do they ask public to vote. When they have judges that are knowledgeable about music, why leave it up to the public to make wrong decisions?

People don't vote with complete knowledge of singing ...they just vote their favorites....and

People who vote are either their relatives, friends..or their own region people(like city,metro)...So they want the person from their city to win and make name....they dont think about singing capability completely compared to some other talented singers....

There is also vast family background difference between each contestant....somebody are rich and some are middle class and some are poor....how their family and relatives will vote if the contestant is very talented like Sandeep......

Some are just sympathy gainers...like Bhanu...he is good...but he is getting lots of votes because of all that drama....

Reality shows want the drama,thrill,competition...and they have to survive this CHANNEL competition with TRPs....thats why they have WILD CARD ROUND...

In american idol...there is hardly any competition between different channels......and even if there is ....check USA's population compare to INDIA....1 billion TV watchers are too much...so getting the business is also one reason to make show popular and spicy by bringing some talented contestants through WILD CARD

I don't think there is any need to be rude to another member, because they have just as much right to express their views and opinions as you and anybody else. You do not need to bring in race into this because it is about talent and talent knows no boundaries, Indian, Gorkha, Chinese, whatever, talent is talent.

Please respect others' views just as you would expect yours to be respected, after all we do not gain anything from all this except entertainment, it is the show's organisers who gain financially from it. There is therefore no need to be rude to one another, people have their own choices and favourites, if everybody liked the same contestants, it would be absolutely dull and boring. So argue, but do it without any malice or rudeness, we should all agree to disagree respectfully. 😊

Hmmm..

I am posting here after long time. almost after a year... so hi to you all..

Actually the concept of voting itself makes way to the wild card entry..

Here Indian public are NOT voting out someone. They are voting for their favorites. So it implies that they have not got rid of the 'worst singers' , but just choose their favorite singers.

Let me give a lil example.

Suppose we have to choose 1 person out of SRK, AMIR KHAN, SALMAN, SAIF, HRITHIK, then probably SRK or SALMAN will get maximum votes. But that doesnt mean that AMIR, SAIF and HRITHIK are worst or they dont deserve to be in the race.

So, the best option is to create a WILD CARD entry to give another chance for someone more deserving to be in the competion. Eventually, only one will be the winner, however good or bad he/she is, as long as he gets lot of votes pouring in from his/her fans.

Aneek was sort of a wildcard entry in last years SAREGAMPA and he won.
Wildcards do have potential to win ex: Prachi in Jhalak.
But yeah Bhavya and Shini need to get back in!

Hi
Your explanation really makes sense and helped me understand wild card better. I really like your example of "SRK, AMIR KHAN, SALMAN, SAIF, HRITHIK" Thank you so much for breaking it down =) and welcome back to the forum

Thats quite a disappointing example
I would have wanted AAMIR KHAN to win out of them.

Hehehe.....for me, the one and only King of Indian films is Mr. Shammi Kapoor, although I also like Shah Rukh Khan for his natural acting ability. 😉
