Utkarsh elimination was planned the way he was treated from last few weeks. When they can tell Adya that she needs to bickle up since competition is getting why couldn’t they tell him same thing and from his todays performance he seems like he tried but gave up. He had sung more tough songs than this and even his last week performance was not that bad first one was good but second one was outstanding.

He was good today. This week the only weak performers were Menuka and Obom. Everyone else did well. Would've preferred Vaibhav in bottom 3 instead of Utkarsh just based on this week's performances.

Anjana doesn't deserve to be in bottom as of now. So next to go should be Adhya, Shubhodeep or Vaibhav.

Utkarsh was in bottom for the first time if I remember correctly? And double elimination all of sudden? They cancelled the elimination when Adya was to be eliminated. Something is not right.

I agree, Anjana has improved; and definitely agree with the former. Subhadeep has had some very strong performances as of late (and he's a personal favorite of mine, so am somewhat biased), but I wish that he wasn't being cast purely into classical / semi-classical songs, as he has for the last couple of weeks; he is more versatile than has been displayed as of late. It seems likely that it will be Adya or Vaibhav to go next (his performances have been good, not great imo), meaning Obom will likely be a finalist ...

Shocking 😭😭..really one of the most unfair elimination in the history of Indian idol ..last time it was senjuti ..this time it is utkarsh and menuka ..two of the finest signer of this season got eliminated....sorry to say to but it should have been adya and obom instead .will really miss these two singers ....judges should have use the vito power in this case atleast for utkarsh. ...anyways all the very best to utkarsh and menuka for ur future . Shine brighter guys.

Oh my god Utkarsh got eliminated? That’s shocking. I’m also surprised with Menuka seeing that she was the judges faves in the beginning but both of them didn’t have a good streak of performances for a while. While I like Adya it’s high time she needs to go! but then again with Arunita not winning and them eliminating Senjuti so early last year I’m not surprised

Only rooting for Ananya at this point.

Started following the season late so not aware of earlier performances.

Standouts for me r Piyush n Ananya. As long as they r in, will watch.

Adhya has a future in the industry. Her kind of voices r rare..Harshdeep Kaur is one and she got few good songs

Only rooting for Piyush and Ananya… and also Subhadeep…. Don’t care about the others. They are the only contestants who have been consistently good since the very beginning!

agree how do they choose vaibhav over utkarsh. looks like utkarsh doset have any backstory for them to get trp on. adhya or obom had to go this week

I think Him, Piyush and Menuka were the one who actually didn’t have any backstory or story although Menuka had her eye problem but I am glad they didn’t use it. Other than that I think remaining contestants had some or other things to show. I mean they did bring his sarvagun sampan khana banena wala something but that was for only couple of episodes. Also everyone family came but not his, Piyush and Surinder mean his dad and grand dad came in audition and his mother was in grand premier episode and that’s it. Also when family special happened I was hoping to see his family they live in Nagpur which is in Maharastra and much closer from other contestant hometown but never happened.

The one week that my watch group and I are unable to watch, the whole show turns on its head and the vibe completely changes. 😞

I still haven't seen last weekend's shows but after knowing what happens, I have no interest in watching Sunday's and maybe I'll watch Saturday's episode for Hemant Kumar.

Menuka getting eliminated is sad but since she apparently messed up again and peaked a while back, her elimination makes sense. Still shouldn't be gone before Adya and Obom at least, but it makes sense.

Utkarsh's elimination was 100% rigging I feel. Every year they do this with one or two contestants who feel guaranteed to make the finale. The higher ups on the show know they can't rig the finale, but they can try and diminish opportunities for certain Finale hopefuls before eliminating them in the weeks before the finale. Last year it was Vineet and Senjuti. The year before was a dumpster fire where several people were eliminated too early. I'll never forget Sawai getting eliminated, with him and Pawandeep being on the block together. It's been 2 and a half years but people still remember it.

This season felt like we were finally done with the filth that plagued previous seasons. There were a few red flags lately but nothing too bad. Both Menuka and Utkarsh being eliminated kills all that goodwill. especially Utkarsh. The idea of him being eliminated while Adya and Obom are still around is not defensible. Anyone who doesn't think that there wasn't some form of rigging/favoritism on display here has not been following this show's recent history, or of reality shows in general, especially Hindi ones.
