Anjana, Adya or Obom…. My first call would be Anjana but given that she is channel ki favourite, I doubt that.

Utkarsh is top 3 material, it should be one of Obom, Adya, Menuka

Don’t they do shoot in Mondays or they shifted to Tuesday permanently.

Like altgr said Adya can only get eliminated if she comes in bottom with Obom, Menuka, Anjana.

Menuka was eliminated, as expected, given her series of mistakes, and the judges' leash (of tolerance for those) ran out. But Utkarsh being eliminated is a shocker; and suggests that this show has not changed whatsoever. The judges and channel will continue to play favorites and eliminate deserving singers.

I understand that Utkarsh had a bit of a downward trend in the last couple of weeks (his performances not as strong as before, for sure) but keeping Adya, Obom, and Anjana in the meanwhile is inexcusable. For what it's worth, I do think they (especially Anjana, in terms of being much more ... bearable?) have been improving coinciding with Utkarsh's rough patch.

To me, this is on par with strong singers such as Soumya (in S10), Subhadeep (ironically, in S11), maybe Nachiket (S12) being eliminated in the 8-11, if not Utkarsh's elimination being more egregious, as he appeared to be a near-certain finalist candidate, in my opinion.

I have not watched the full episode / each performance today carefully to assess, but will do so later today.

It was Obom, Menuka and Utkarsh in the bottom.

And someone here posted Obom and Adhya r getting lot of votes being winners of their respective junior competition. No wonder Utkarsh was eliminated

Utkarsh elimination was planned the way he was treated from last few weeks. When they can tell Adya that she needs to bickle up since competition is getting why couldn’t they tell him same thing and from his todays performance he seems like he tried but gave up. He had sung more tough songs than this and even his last week performance was not that bad first one was good but second one was outstanding.

It's absolutely ridiculous that Utkarsh got eliminated here. He was definitely top 2 singers in this season. He was easily the most versatile contestant, and the only contestant that sang different genres every week and absolutely nailed it every time. He really somewhat reminded me of Sonu Nigam from the late 80s early 90s (not nearly as great but still)

Like you said they were clearly preparing to eliminate him. He got fewer songs, shorter performances, not as much favouritism from guest judges (Hrithik Roshan just said nothing after his amazing rind posh maal performance), his performances were constantly completely cut out from youtube uploads, judge's comments on his were totally cut out. He was treated awfully by this show.

The favouritism played by this show is absolute madness. Clearly they want some specific personalities or stories or misfortunes to be part of contestants to keep the show ratings high. Utkarsh just comes from a musical family and lives a decent life, which is clearly a crime in this show. How pathetic, and here I thought maybe this show changed for the better.

No longer watching the rest of this season.
