I felt the same when watching it, but thought maybe I was mistaken. Glad to see someone else also feel similarly

Clearly one of subpar episodes. No one came close to range and depth of Kumar Sanu or Anuradha.

I skipped most of the songs after seeing how some contestants are awarded back to back songs in their comfort zone while that genre is hardly popular these days.

When Adity asked the guests whether their comments were forced upon them. If I am mistaken only Kumar Sani spoke. In regards to today’s episode both Roop Kumarji and Anuradhaji were guarded with their praises. They gave enough to support and encourage these young Singers. Kumar Sanuji praises them a bit more perhaps he has heard them before but nevertheless they kept in mind that encouraging young talent should be the way especially this lot who are not novices.

I found it unfair though that SMP Anjali and Sawai only performed one song in duet. Like I wrote before. They should give them all equal time. This will affect voting pattern for those with no favourites.

Not a fan of SMP or Sawai, but absolutely agree. There has to be equality regarding time-allotment & number of songs. This season is so haphazard in this matter. Don’t know what criteria they use. Some sing anything from 4-6 , some only one, some none ; again, at times some are allowed to sing the whole song & not just one antara. So random. Are they drawing chits?? 😳

This was the pettiest thing that's ever happened on any reality show! The Team cannot digest the truth bombs can they 😆 Now they'll comment on Abhijeet Savant's statement too 😆

Amit Kumar doesn't give a damn about the spotlight and whether he is in it. The fact that he only came on the show on invite proves that...so what am I supposed to expect from guests who are coming 3-4 times on the show and are managed by one of the most influential event groups for music.

A very disappointing episode!

Tauro Sayli and Arunita were fully in their comfort zone! If Anuradhaji is already available to sing, don't see any need for further duplicates in the industry.

Please understand, this not to demean them, but please make them get out of their routine styles and get them to sing a different genre, like how Sayli sang "beedi jalayle"

SMP and Anjali may as well quit the show. If the show gives them only a part mukhda/antara and lets the co singer dominate with most of the verses, wonder how will they even ask for votes. Enough of this keeping the few singers at bay!

And let us name this program Bhajan/Quwali/Ghazal -12

Many times Arunita proved she is versatile.. in lil champs also she used to sing different type of song every week but i have just posted her idol performances.

If you don't want to change your views after this then that's fine but the fact will not change that she is already out of her comfort zone so her name should not be mentioned here thats what i feel.

Exactly ! The same words were quoted by my father. Kishore Kumar went against the PM during emergency and was jailed for it. Like father like son.

Then he should have rejected the offer to come on the show. It was not the first time he came on Idol, he came last season and this season too and the judges and the team are the same so he knew how things work in these shows. And if money was very important for him them he should not have given statements like these. He was singing and enjoying in the episode and once the shoot was over he gave negative statements.

Enjoyed 90s special episode very much .Tauro, Sayli and Arunitha have tried different styles as well . They sing with ease and sing well does it mean that they are full in their comfort zone ?? If you say so all 9 sing in their comfort zone itself .Some melody, others classical, folk and yodelling. Yesterday Nihal, Arunitha and sayli were too good and they deserve appreciation . Nihal has shown tremendous growth as well throughout his indian idol journey and is currently singing like a professional playback singer if you have noticed . Sayli and Arunitha are always outstanding all the three have a very soothing voice and deserve all the appreciation they get .

I agree all should be given equal number of songs and same screen time should be alloted , the bias is quite evident . But it's not only Anjali and SMP , if you have noticed in previous episodes even including Nihal , sawai , Anjali are just given less screen time , Sayli sings so well but she was not given an opportunity to sing in AR Rahman episode . It's few who get lots of importance and lots of screen time which is unfair to the rest .Why can't they distribute equal number of songs and allot equal time to all.Again it's creatives and channel to be blamed not the contestants.

Why should anyone quit the show after trying so hard and putting in lotts of efforts . All contestants will be rewarded for their hard work if not in Indian idol may be in future, I hope they make it big in the music world . Indian idol itself is not everything and we can't be so judgemental always .
