I caught the last two performances of today’s episode. Arunita and Sayli were good. Nihal not so much. Completely agree with those two assessments of yours.

I groaned out loud when he was in the middle of the song. Nachiket would’ve done justice to Shukran Allah. It is one of my favorite songs.

Episode was average. There is something missing ever since they have started shooting in Daman.

Pawandeep was good but nothing extraordinary. It was not his type of song but he did well.

Ashish usually sings energetic numbers so it was good to see him attempting this soulful track. I liked his variations.

I enjoyed Sawai's performance. Nihal disappointing.

Sayli - Arunita best performance of the episode. Their duets always have been good.

I loved how Sawai and Pawandeep were playing dholak for each other.

I was happy to see Sawai also playing dholak. Till now it was shown as if only Pawandeep can play, as he played sitting with musicians last time..

This episode was mainly male singers except for 1 female duet..

I thought all were good but not exceptional..Sawai was best. Nihal was weak this time.

Did anyone notice pawan and Ashish also started their songs with an alaap, and the alaaps sounded fine, then Danish decides to give a very long alaap for his 2nd song, and was not appealing at all. Why can't Danish do a normal controlled alaap rather than overdoing and going crazy with it?

I did not understand how to react on Anu Malik's request to Pawandeep that whenever he wins any award; he should brought the dholok with him at the stage while receiving the award!!!!! 😕

Please visualize the scene, Pawandeep taking an award with the dholok with him. 🤡

You are right. Nihal sang the song quite well. Even judges commented that it is very difficult to do justice to a soft song.

If SMP and Anjali are kept out of one of the two episodes every time, how will they ask for votes!

Pawandeep-I must say. This is probably Pawandeep's best perfomance since getting back from COVID-19. He did complete justice to the song even though he did have a few sharp moments. I definitely feel he is getting to the point of overhype but I have always enjoyed Pawandeep's singing regardless.

Ashish-Best solo performance of the day! Song is so beautiful and Ashish's version was so good and so soothing to listen to. Possibly his best performance in months and I feel this performance will get him to the finale. Both sukoon mila gaane sunke. Hats off. First time in months I am praising an Ashish performance.

Danish-Of course they give him 2 songs while the others get 1 pretty much??? Probably Danish's weakest performance ever. Dawaat Ishq was just laughable. The other song was overdone with alaaps and unnecessary screaming. I don't think Danish will make the finale especially if he continues to give performances like this...

Sawaii-Sawaii being in the top 2 last week in voting was a big smack in my face. How could he get more votes than Arunita? Anyways. He sounded alright today. The song itself is so wonderful but Sawaii did make his fair share of mistakes. I still feel he gets unnecessary hype due to his monetary status but that's just me. Overall not bad but not great either.

Arunita and Sayli-Ah the top 2 contestants right now imo singing a duet! Easily the best performance of the day. I have heard the song multiple times but it never gets old and Arunita and Sayli both did wonderful. Arunita sounded a bit better than Sayli but I feel Sayli is a very versatile singer still. I am surprised it didn't give as much love and appreciation as other performances.

Nihal-Good lord Shukrah Allah is like one of my favorite songs of all time and Nihal completely ruined it. I had to go back to the original with Sonu Nigam and cleanse my ears. Nihal was improving steadily and now he hit a rut. That's the big problem with him. He gives a good performance and then goes back to his old ways of mediocrity. He's kind of like a seesaw in that regard. He's probably been the lowest voted contestant for awhile but is only this far due to judge support...

MVP of the episode was easily Ashish for giving a finale worthy performance but the duet was not far behind

As for Sunday's episode, 95% of the songs are repeat like what is wrong with the creative team. Kaminey song for SMP again??? Slow motion angreza again? Ramta Jogi and Chaiyaa again??? Sukwindher Singh is one of my favorite singers of all time and this is what I have to watch. At least I know Arunita will do complete justice to Layi Vi Nagayi. I am also looking forward to Beedi from Sayli and Danish.

Looks to be that's what they want. They are not even bothered to release Anjali promo. SMP promo is released for the sake of it just to keep her fans happy. I can clearly see what they are trying to do they don't want Anjali to take Ashish or Sayali's votes as all of them from same state. SMP I guess they are afraid if she reach top5 she might become a threat to their favorites. She has talent as well as vote bank if her vote bank increases it will be a threat. So they are doing as much as they keep her out of top5 by giving her repeat songs, just one 3 min song in two episodes.
