See Kumar Sanu take on need of creativity. It applies to Danish as well. He never tries to copy original singers and tries to add his own style. It may backfire now as they are on learning phase but they will surely find success.

Agree with you that this may backfire when they are learning but they will succeed, because only confident artists can be creative and improvise. Danish has always tried to make the songs his own by being creative and improvising, and also sings in his own voice. I understand that imitation is useful in learning but you also have to spark your own creativity, because that shows the full picture of your true talent. People don’t want just a voice imitating another music artist with no creativity because that sounds exactly copied.
Kumar Sanu is absolutely right....where there is no creativity, you cannot create an identity there.
