Just for fun, let's guess who will be in Top5 post powerplay

Here is my list.

Pawandeep

Arunitha

Danish

Nihal

Sayali

No offence to SMP and Anjali fans. Iam a big fan of both of them my self. But after seeing how they were treated this week I lost hope that they will make to top 5. So just took them out. Sawayi is going out himself so can't count. Ashish not sure if he still gets more votes when he is not even performing so not picked him.

What do you folks think?

I think SMP or Danish should win the show if one is searching for true talent and not a copy cat. Unfortunately looks like forces behind Sony want some one who will fade out soon to win so the big singers continue to monopolize.

After all the crap about women empowerment etc., if things are left to audience a dud who lacks originality or throw may be chosen.

I still think they are going to stick with the below (aka the ones allowed to sing for the ARR special):

Arunita

SMP

Danish

Ashish

Imo it isn’t between Sayli or SMP, if anything it would be between Ashish and Sayli since their regional support will be split between the two. Ashish has been promoted more throughout the season so my guess is that it’ll be him.

The 5th spot is a toss between the 3 other girls

IG followers are a fairly good indicator of public interest and has nailed the top 3 in the past. But it can't reflect block votes and that can tilt the balance.

I would have loved if that happens. I doubt Danish still have chances to win. His followers are increasing quite a bit. And he is promoted well. Not sure how it will turn out when Pawandeep comes back.

SMP is on different level altogether compared to anyone and actually the one who sang most complicated stuff. But normal audience won't be able to understand how difficult is to do what she is doing and so she has built hater group some out of jealousy and some out of their love for soft melodies. Channel and judges gave a surprise by sidelining her yesterday that too all of a sudden. Anyway iam confidant she has very bright future irrespective of this show.

I don't think from channel perspective SMP or Danish are in winner race from start. It was always Pawandeep but now Arunitha also have a massive fan base so she is strong opponent for Pawandeep in terms of votes. Let people choice win. Iam ok for either of them winning.

Don’t Anjali and SMP have more followers than Ashish though?

I would look at Insta post likes over followers, since followers can easily be bought in today’s age of digital marketing (not saying any contestant is doing this necessarily, sometimes accounts can be attacked by bots as well).

I totally forgot about Sawai. If he elects to stay he could possibly make top 5, who knows... he’s been most voted before after all.
