Also just FYI, I am no fan of Shanmukhpriya and nor was she my favorite ever. 😆It was just a general comment about the trend of the forum from the starting of the show.

Aah thanks for correcting. Looks like a new company that the producers are outsourcing their shows to. Btw just checked on google, is he Sonu Kakkar's husband and Neha's BIL?

Fremantle is still the main producer. The Content Team is I think the creative and music team.

I personally know someone who participated in a dance reality show, who reached the final only because they had some contacts.
They weren’t high profile or even rich. Normal middle class working people. But you could still have the right contacts.

From what I’ve been told, only final votes are audited.

Actually everyone has had either a reality show link or an inside link.

If I remember correctly the Top 5 of Season 10 had said links:

Salman- SRGMP and various other reality/stage shows

Ankush- Talent discovered by the Mallik Brothers, assistant to Ammal whose uncle was a judge at the time. Plus the kind of backstory the channel wanted.

Neelanjana- The Voice

Nitin- SRGMP

Vibhor- Cousin to the Mohan sisters (Shakti, Neeti, Mukti).

I do not say they were there specifically because of contacts coz boy they are all immensely talents. But the links have helped them get a push, rest is all merit. I do not say their stories are also lies.

A Personal example I have is of a girl who is a couple of years my junior and she auditioned for one of these big dance shows. Trust me she was amazing and her footage was even on TV according to my friends. But the creative team asked her if she had a sob story. When she said no they said its not possible.

So unfortunately politics can outweigh talent certain times.

Producer is Freemantle. The running of the show has been given to The Content Team which includes the creative team and music decisions as well...basically Mass Media graduates who have no knowledge of music are making decisions on music.

I had made a post on it a few days ago, Neeraj Sharma is Sonu's husband. Thats also why Neha is still on the show after immense criticism.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. I’ve heard many such stories.

In Ajay-Atul epi , smp n sireesha done good job . sireesha is ready for play back . Smp is ready for play back n rock .nice they are getting appreciation n offers .

What an episode it was today! I loved it for so many reasons!! 👏🏻😍 Hema ji, the proper performances got standing ovations and MBD, and of course, the performances!

First and foremost, the highlight of today's episode was undoubtedly Hema Malini. What a gorgeous, timeless beauty! Both her dances today were breathtaking!! She's the epitome of beauty and grace 😇🙏🏼😍

- Nihal was good today. Just about average though. Not much to say about him. It's good that he sang the first, because the episode could only get better from there 😅

- Pawandeep also sang well, but I couldn't connect to him. Whenever he sings, he looks stressed out. It feels like he is thinking too much while singing and not enjoying himself, which doesn't let me connect to him and enjoy either. If it continues like this, he might not remain a top contender for the trophy.

- Arunita and Danish's duet was worth the wait. They blew it out of the park. Simply superb! 🙌🏼👌🏼😁

- Sayli was outstanding! She is the best at putting expressions in her songs and she enjoys while she sings. I'm glad she's finally beginning to get her due. She sang three songs today and both Hema ji and Himesh praised her for all three of them. A very well deserving standing ovation and MBD. 🙌🏼👏🏻 Honestly, Himesh seems to be the only sane judge out of the three.

- Arunita's solo performance was, as always, amazing. What more can I say about her? I just love her. Again, very well deserving standing ovation and MBD.

- Danish sang Dream Girl for Hema ji, and I think he did it better than Pawandeep. But why are certain people getting more chances to perform? Including this song, Danish performed four times this weekend. Arunita and Pawandeep sang three times. Both Ashish and Sawai sang twice while the rest sang only once. Don't get me wrong, I love Arunita and Danish (and Pawandeep and Sawai are also good), but isn't this unfair to the rest of the contestants? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

- On a side note, I think the makers did listen to us on one thing. Neha's face was shown quite less today. We got to see more of the contestants' reactions today, both during Hema ji's dance and during Danish's uncle's act. The latter was unnecessary IMO.

- The star of the show today was most definitely Anjali for me! She performed only once this weekend, but her performance stayed with me and made the biggest impact. She truly deserved the standing ovation and MBD. ❤️❤️

- In the end, they took up so much time in showing videos about Hema ji's life. At least half of that time could have been utilized better to let singers perform.

- The medley at the end was a perfect end to the show. 👏🏻 This was probably the first time that I actually liked SMP's singing. Mainly because the song fit her style. If she chooses the right songs to perform, only then can I listen to her and actually enjoy. The best of the medley were Nachiket, Arunita, Sayli, and Sireesha. Three of these -- Nachiket, Sayli, and Sireesha -- are so underrated! They need more hype and chances to perform! Definitely more than Ashish, Sawai, and SMP.

Hema Malini is still so pretty and graceful!! She’s aging like fine wine.

Coming to today’s performance:

Nihal - I didn’t enjoy it at all. It was okay, but whenever I hear him sing, I’m reminded that he’s here while someone more deserving is out. He’s an average singer at best.

Pawandeep - while he sounded better than yesterday, it still sounded mechanical. There was no soul. I can’t help compare his dream girl to Danish’s - Danishs was full of soul, Pawandeeps was musically better. I’m not sure I’m making sense.

Danish and Arunita - undoubtedly two of the best singers on the show. Their coming together had to be magical and it was. I really enjoyed it.

Sayli - What has happened to her? She’s just climbing up the ladder to the stop spot with such speed. The last 2-3 weeks she’s been unstoppable. I was blown away today. She sang three songs back to back and one better than the other. I think she is going to give Arunita/SMP (who mostly likely will win if it’s a female winner) a run for their money!

Arunita: again a brilliant performance. I think she started slightly weak, but in about 30 seconds she just got better. For once I thought it may not be an amazing performance but she proved me wrong.

Danish: I don’t think this was one of his strong performances. It was good, but not Danish level good.

Anjali: wow!! This girl has no competition when it comes to classical singing. She sang two raag based songs - Raag Todi and Raag Bhupali (if I’m not mistaken), and she sang both flawlessly. I personally preferred her first song, but that in no way means the second was any less better.

I enjoyed the medley in the end, but sad that Anjali only sang in a group, no solo or duet. Also, Some singers sang 3-4-5 songs this week, while others just 2. Some got to perform on both days and even multiple times (Danish, Arunita, Pawandeep). Why is there no uniformity? And then the channel wants us to believe they aren’t biased.

I hate the judges or the guests doing waah or ahahaha while contestants are singing. The production should mute their mikes if they can’t shut up for a bit. We want to listen to the songs without waah waah. Also it seems funny when Neha does waah waah, her facial expressions are such a giveaway that she doesn’t know what she’s doing.

Again Neha reminding Himesh to give a standing ovation - I thought that was stupid. Maybe he didn’t want to, but was now compelled. You may really enjoy a performance, but not enough to give it a standing ovation. Or you just don’t feel like it!

today’s best performance for me was a tie between Sayli and Anjali. Worst of course Nihal
