The previous episode ended with Chandni's mother asking her if she's fallen in love with nayone in mumbai .
Today's episode continue's with that where her mother says that when manish and she were born she had dreamt many things for her daughters but she forogt that they were girls and that girls have specific roles in society i.e: mother, sister ,daughter. Etc. Basic emotional drama, where the DDLJ scene is repeated.
Meanwhile, Aditya and Tara are sitting in a restaurant and Adi is very quite. Tara gets bored and sarcastically mein tells Adi that she's having lots of fun with him and that he's great company. Adi apologises and then asks Tara to dance. Reluctantly she agree's and they both go on the dance floor. As they start dancing, Adi see's Chandni in Tara's face and starts spinning her round and round as if punishing her for leaving him. Tara shouts at Adi at the end and Adi , frustrated runs away.
Then on the other side of the country, Chandni is drying clothes and suddenly Dilawar and his friends come there, calling Chandni bhabhi bhabhi. (gosh! Dilawar looks cute ha, especially the way he says tu to chandni) . His friends tell her that they are just going to go out and that it'll be a perfect opportunity for chandni and Dilawar to talk privately. Chandni , flustered, says that her mother won't allow her, but the frnd says that she shouldn't worry about the mother and that Dilawar and she have to spend the rest of their lives together as it is.
Adi get up with a start, and is huffing. Shaking his head, he goes to drink water and gp enters. Gp tells Adi that they are going to have an english breakfast along with toast together. Adi shakes his head in frustation and hugs gp saying that all their time together meant nothing to chandni and he needs to forget her. (poor fellow is in bad shape)
Chandni is sitting aside from Dilawar and his frnds who are dancing. Dilawar looks at Chandni and remembers how before she went to mumbai she had danced with him and all those pyara pyara pal. He comes to her and says that she should also come dance with them, but she says NO. Itne mein, some fellow behind starts saying something about the galli ki ladki, who is engaged to somebody but is seeing somebody else. Dilawar gets angry and goes to the fellow and says that the girls from our pind punjab don't get engaged to one fellow and then go fall in love with another and tat if any girl does do that then she should die. Chandni turns and is shocked, with a few tears in her eyes.
That fellow gets up and in turn tells Dilawar that his chandni is not doodh ki dhuli hui and that she went to mumbai. How will dilawar know whether she fell in love with someone or not? At this Dilawar gets super angry and starts beating the heck out of the other fellow. Kaafi dishum dishum and Chandni's screams later, he comes back and apologises to her saying that he can't stand anyone saying anything against her. He tries to hold her hand, but she pulls away.
At Dilawar's house Chandni's mother and Dilawar's mother are seeing jewellery etc. Dilawar and Chandni enter and Chandni's mother shows her the jewellery. She doesn't say anything and the father's enter. Dilawar rubs his hands unconciously and Chandni's father asks him what happened. He says that someone was saying rubbish about chandni and thus...... Chandni's father is very happy, and tells chandni what a super amazing fellow she's got. Chandni excuses herself and rushes away.
Dilawar follows her to a room where she's standind. He tells her that he knows her since childhood and when they go engaged he allowed her to go to mumbAI cause he though she wouldn't change, but she had changed. Chandni is shocked and turns to him. He says that you dont look at me the same way you did before, and a series of clips with Dilawar and chandni flash on the screen. Dilawar says that Mumbai's a big place and that she would've needed someone for company. He asks her if she met someone there, and Chandni immediately remembers all her moments with Adi. She is shocked still and doesn't know what to say.
Precap: Dilawar's mother asks Chandni if she'll become the ghar ka bahu. Everyone's looking at her expectantly, but she's not answering.
Will she go ahead with the wedding, or suddenlly turn selfish. You'e got to remember, this ain't a parmeet sethi who's just met Kajol. This fellow Dilawar is actually in love with chandu? So it comes down to- the one you love, or the one who loves you. Age old.
