But creating this unnecessary conflict and Chaudhary family directing their anger towards imlie in this track looks so lam. Yeh show ki sabse badi problem hi yahi hai ki apart from main leads Agastya Imlie, the supporting characters aren't well written exception being Sonali. Arey ghar ke elders Tum log ho har baat ka responsibility Agastya imlie par kyon aa jata hai. This chachi character doesn’t look like that she is mother of either Karan or chutki. Have she ever demanded Accountability from her kids for their actions. Dadi was initially introduced as strong matriarch but she has been reduced as sympathizer of navya dukh dard or crying for Agastya but doing nothing for him. Dusre shows mein the oldies characters might be regressive but atleast they are entertaining yahan par toh woh bhi nahi milta.
Karan bulbul is pairing eww. It's hard to imagine this pair because how they wrote their backstory and the criticism imlie got for standing for Bulbul
The supporting characters are just a waste of screenspace in this show
I agree with you. There are a lot of inconsistencies in the writing. Even with the back story they have kept changing it a lot (parents of Dhanraj, meera and Kunal ka backstory, Meera in jail vs dead etc).
They have forgotten so many tracks like Ashu track, Imlie-Agastya childhood track, Dhanraj kairi track, Imlie chef track.
New plots introduced without a proper flow - revenge family, stalker track, Meera raising the girls, Karan bulbul track.
Loops not being closed/ no follow up conversations - Sonali and Amrit showdown, Karan Bulbul relationship repercussions, Avi Chutki conversation about their respective family rivalry and the impact on their relationship. They are churning out 24 minutes episodes daily. Max ten min conversation will close these loops but they aren't not being focused.
Inconsistent writing of characters - Imlie still trusting revenge family after knowing the whole truth, Agastya blindly trusting this family before the truth, Dadi and chacha chachi not taking any stand for Chutki, Avi not confronting his family when he knows his mother is blaming this family for his father's death which is huge.
I understand they are side characters and not the leads but still there needs to be some sort of closure and discussion to make the story make sense on an overall basis.
The acting and technical team is doing very well but the writing has been the weakest. It's possible because like you said the writing teams have been changing quite frequently.
Yahan don't fin logic.
