The poetry in Jail reminded me of a Telugu movie in which a comedian lands up in Jail and asks for a realm of papers and pens to write his autobiography in Jail🤣. The whole scene is hilarious.

May be the FL is a comic character 🤪

And yeah about the Hawa mein dupataa udne ki baat, mere saath hua hai bilkul only for it to get stuck in the cog of the bicycle I was riding. Uske baad dupatta aur mera dono hi halath mujhe batane ki zaroorat nahi hai I guess 😆

In 1980s we had movies like Himmatwala etc where Sridevi Mam and Jeetendra Sir would dance on pots and give multiple poses.

The tempo is set for Masala songs..

In 1970's we had Sir Dada Kondke (Marathi Actor) who believed in each and every person and his mom would get headache at his innocence, but in that process Masala songs included very popular ones with double meaning and huge success.

So scope of full Masala serial exists here.. with songs like

Cheeni Kam Cheeni Kam

Imlie Jyaada Imlie Jyaada

and so on...

in such cases the focus is on pure comedy entertainment bordering to hamming. That also has many audience and takers..

Imagine 'Golmal hain bhai sab golmal hain' being played whenever Imlie enters the scene.. She can also be converted to comical village bumkin.

Honestly, I don't even know what exactly GK is trying to achieve by showing all these nonsense🤣🤣 From what I've gathered both her parents were smart in their own ways but yet somehow their daughter has an IQ of 5 yrs and behaves oddly 🤪😆

As for the hero, again idk what he's doing. He's so high on energy lol 😆 but he's different from the regular gk heroes( for now at least) so I'm fine with him for now 😆

Thanks fir the tag. I am not watching Imlie ...even the last 2 weeks of Arylie too. Just caught the clips on Insta.....it was too painful to watch them die.

Your post is more entertaining than the drama ......someone should actually complain to the Television broadcasting...there is one shown in the disclaimer that every shows. Why can they some intelligence in the characters they write, do they have to be airheads....and about dupatta flying I will have to do permutation and combination 🤣 to see the chance of it landing...I don't wear one usually so no idea😆

Oh my! your write up is hilarious. I had a very hectic day at work today, and this is such a stress buster🤣

But, I have to tell you that watching bicharipan gets so tiring😒, as you can't reach into your television set to shake them out of that self-pity 🤓 And why do these shows want to equate innocence and goodness to being dumb?

So, what if she went to a municipal school? That doesn't make you uneducated. Less sophisticated, may be, but definitely not uneducated. If she is living in Rathore mansion, sophistry ki koi kamee nahin honi chaahiyein. But oh well! 😎 Humein kya. Their show, their money and their characters. Not our circus, not our monkeys😃

those are great questions -- especially because of what the dramas imply. who would want to be good if it means that you are dumb and capable of being manipulated?

Mango ji, I can still understand capable of being manipulated. Heck all of us get manipulated by our children or parents or other loved ones, that we do out of our love for them. But dumb and bicharipan are very difficult to tolerate for me, if they want me to empathize with the character as being good👎🏼

Imlie ( the real one ) is not dumb, she is extremely smart. No self pity or bicharipan. She thrashed around so much, fell on her face, dusted herself and moved on. No expectations for being helped or given any preferences👏 Even if she went down, she went kicking and screaming. That is what makes her a good character to watch and somewhat root for🤔
