Let me first itself clearly state I am talking of only Imlie and I am not for either AKT or Aryan Singh Rathore, any more. If you are a hard core fan of AKT or Aryan, please stay away for your own peace of mind. And I watched only from 310 episode

It was promised as a story of a village girl, young and brilliant, aspiring to do better in her career, studies and life. Brought up by a single mother, with a brand of illegitimate child all through her life, with no idea about who is her father. She vowed never to get married, but to do better by studying hard and make her mothers' life a heaven

And what we got after 572 episodes, let us re visit.

1st forced marriage with a person of almost double her age, came with him to city

He got married to another woman, in front of her, without informing any one

She was made to stay in his house as maid

Later her sautan turned out to be her half sister, who became the biggest villain of her life

Her half sister played all games to throw her out of her house, twisted stories and raped her husband, alleged her that she shot to kill the child.

Imli stepped out of her husband's house cutting off her ties with him (this is the first thing I appreciate of her), still he tried to follow her to keep both women in his life

Half sister again twisted the plot and made both of them to sign divorce, alleged Imlie to have affair with her boss, the Aryan Singh Rathore, whom she blindly trusted as partner

Next day of divorce, she was made to witness their marriage again, made to cover it as reporter.

One fine day, Aryan forces her to marry him, for his revenge game with her ex-husband, first a fake deal marriage, which he was hell bent up on to make it real, with an illusion of giving her a choice

Once the girl vowed not to get married, and she was pushed into two forced marriages and one divorce in an year time.

After marriage, she helped Aryan to come out of his revenge mode, then he made her confuse what is his place in his life.

Somehow later they confessed, consummated and she got pregnant. And by merely being manipulated by his psycho ex friend, he decided that its not his baby. and she had to prove it wrong. pathetic

Then again her half sister enter back, manipulates with her own daughter, puts a trap and imli gets a mis carriage. She was being ruthlessly blamed and asked to leave by her own caring and loving husband, whom she believed was 50-50 partner. And the girl leaves quietly. Alas!!!

All the 5 years passed, she lived for her half sister's abandoned daughter and he expected her to return even if he only asked her to leave with all harsh words.

Once she comes back, for whatever reasons, she was made to confess and consummate again in drunken state, just to leave her bewildered with the fact that her husband does not remember anything about.

Finally her half sister blames her of being a child trafficker, and she dragged her out of her own house, with her husband watching still, no one talked for her

She was forced to separate from her own niece, whom she raised as her daughter and is the centre of her life now.

At the end, her own half sister makes sure she dies with a truck hitting her, but she ends up in coma, and being fully pregnant. (I am happy for this coma, as she has some peaceful sleep)

And when she wakes up, here again her husband is ready with the famous this is not my baby one liner

And she may or may not prove, but her half sister will make sure she dies.

WHERE IS THE PROMISED STORY OF THE BRILLIANT YOUNG GIRL IMLIE? WHAT SHE HAS BECOME IN LIFE? A SUCCESSFUL JOURNALIST? TWO FORCED MARRIAGES?ONE DIVORCE?ONE MISCARRIAGE? LOT OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ABUSE?

All the while Imlie is tortured and her life is being destroyed, her half sister does all criminal acts like trafficking, sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, attempt to murder, abandoning her own child, terrost attack on country's independence day, financial frauds and what not. Still she is out, enjoying her spa at home. Very good, very very good message

I have one thing to submit, I never realised that I was watching such a toxic content and all the credit for that goes to the fabulous performance by the cast, especially STK and FK.

Moral of the Story:

1. Selfless pure souls like Imlie or any one of her kind deserve all bad things in life, they won't get peace of mind, or true love, in their life, they will end up in coma and finally death at young age.

2. Evils like Malini or any one of her kind can do any number of crimes, but go un exposed and even if exposed, they will get just minimum punishment and will be out in public to continue make others life hell.

3. Most importantly, for us audience, don't watch toxic content, and don't get attached to any fictional story

Moral of the story is never trust ITVs big promises. 😆 ITV can come up with promises of grand concepts but the execution will only and always lead you to bigamy and triangles. Isse zyaada unhe kuch nahi aata.🤣

Did you just say message? Sorry, any word as such does not exist in the makers dictionary. Don't you see the disclaimer at the beginning of each episode? That's about it. I do disagree at some points about AryLie's story. But I understand the overall concern you have raised in your post. The show's name is Imlie but well what do we even have to witness. Who cares! She just has to keep suffering, some people just have to keep minting money out of all this nonsense and offcourse get some whopping numbers in the TRP game.

At the end of the day, we audience are the biggest fools for sitting through all the crap they throw at us in the name of "fiction" and "entertainment".

I started watching for Aryan, and ended up liking Imlie too. I was never just team aryan or team imlie. I am team Arylie but even I won't support this toxicity for their sake. My last bad experience with Gul was QH. I watched until KSG's exit and was living my life peacefully without watching any of her shows. I have said it before....we watch shows to be entertained, to see good triumph over evil. But it feels like TRP aunties, PH and channel thrive on this negativity. I don't mean to give a lecture but as audience, should we not say no to such storylines?

I kept waiting for Imlie to run BT! Alas, neither her studies nor her progression were deemed to be worthy storylines to fetch TRP. Some women love to see women suffer. Maybe it validates their suffering

I also joined the show for Arylie. I actually watched the original show Ishti Kutum with family while growing up. Tbh when I learned of Imlie I knew it was gonna be bad with love triangle. But never really realized how bad Malini’s character was going to be, because on the original her character was realistic and grey. Not evil. Anyway, I was very happy that Aryan came to Imlie’s life and it was gonna be different. And motivational show where the lead will have growth. Imlie would become successful. She will be shown breaking the shackles of society. She will be fighting for womens right and Aryan will be there helping her.
but what we are getting is even worse than the original. Since it’s so negetive and stuck on the same place as the first episode. The good women became a crazy psycho and a murderer. Who’s life motto is to ruin someone’s life for making a man leave her. Like there is nothing more important than a man for a educated well established woman. The independent girl who was supposed to fight for herself, the strong independent girl who is a topper and a dreamer became the crying doormat and abla nari, who has nothing better to do other than create babies or cry for trust. The self assured, feminist, smart, rich, educated mentor, became the idiotic good for nothing misunderstanding egotistical husband. Who has nothing better to do but cry for his dead kid and his wife leaving.

At this point I want Imlie to leave everything behind and just have her kid. Where she can live in peace without the Rathore’s and Malini. Maybe then she will have some kind of peace.


Itv hasn’t changed a bit in the last 10 years. They are going backward with their stories and dramas. The dramas I used to watch 10-12 years ago had better stories than the craps they are showing nowadays everywhere. Imlie would be the last show I will watch until there will be something new without toxicity, abuse, love triangles, Sautan, 2 sister fighting for a man, saas bahu drama, cheating and many other tropes.

I agree with you completely. I watched Malayalam Imlie and loved it. Initially I was scolding my mother to watch bigamy, one man marrying two sisters. But that story was really positive, Imlie never fell in love with any one. Aditya helped her to study and become a doctor, his family always supported. Most importantly Malini was shown as helpless soul, not a villain. She never tried to kill and harm Imlie. She was madly in love with Aditya. There was no Aryan and finally Imlie only convinced SK and Meethi that Aditya and Malini loved EO and Imlie never wanted to be his wife. She always wanted to study and become doctor and she became at the end. It was an inspiring story like how a tribal girl overcame all the challenges and achieved her dreams in spite of getting trapped in a marriage.

Similar is the case with Anupama. Malayalam version is less dramatic and more realistic. I could relate more to it. No third man like Anuj. I don't watch it. My mother watches it.

Same with Marathi version of KKIS. A sweet rom-com I watch daily. Its very much entertaining. Hindi KKIS was the worst I read, never dared to watch it

Fortunately there is no malayalam version of YRKKH and Ghum. Thank god for the mercy🤣🤣

I learned my hard lesson like watch regional shows, they make better entertainment and are more realistic and relatable

Why are we even trying to understand the story now when the main motive if the head is to ruin every good thing about Arylie. Why are we even taking these episodes seriously? Should have stopped when the news about the leap came. Why are we still blaming who is good and who isn't? I mean don't you all get it that person is trying to ruin every good memory or association we have with the characters and the show? The last thing we wanted was a good happy ending. But we don't even deserve that according to the PH head. All these are intentional. Hum e chot pauchane ke liye yeh sab kiya ja raha hain.

No one can deny the fact Aryan as a ckt got new audience and TRPs. So the PH has to detach the audience of season 1. She knows how famous the ML and the jodi is. So her main motive is to ruin everything.For her season 2 has to have a better ML and ckt. Arylie are superior. So ruining the was the only option. She is deliberately doing everything & we are letting her do it.

There is no point of any discussion or debate. If you loved the ckts and jodis, do it till the end and don't let that vile woman play with your emotions.
